Ars superior est vita hominum.
"We pop out and come into the world and music is there. We didn't invent it - it's all organised in the atmosphere by divinity or whatever. It's a miracle." - John Williams-
I think music is a stream of some kind. It could be blood. It could be water. It could be ether. Whatever it is it seems to be a living, organic force that’s in motion, that serves humanity and is part of humanity and part of what describes us as humans. We sing, play, dance, all the things that we do. And there is a vibrant and great literature we have been given. ... As musicians, we join the stream. We swim in the stream with all the other millions of music makers. It’s a life force, a strong one, surrounding us and we are part of it. -John Williams-

Human aggression is instinctual. Humans have not evolved any ritualised aggression-inhibiting mechanisms to ensure the survival of the species. For this reason man is considered a very dangerous animal.

You know what would be cool? That the spider had laid eggs in the woman's ear before it was removed, so when they'll hatch, her head will explode!

This article is a classic case of crap Yahoo! journalism. Five paragraphs. First paragraph establishes the problem IN CHINA, second discusses the solution IN CHINA, and the third discusses how successful the solution was and introduces a suggested explanation for how the issue happened in the first place IN CHINA. Ok, I get that.
The fourth paragraph jumps over to the United States and explains how warm weather and drought -- obvious "global warming" fear propaganda -- could escalate cases like this happening in the US, which will only incite panic if you read the comments. And the fifth paragraph, while an attempt to corroborate this information with a factual source, is just another oversight, because discussing INSECTS does not belong in an article about a misplaced SPIDER. To the casual reader, they're all "bugs," but those in the know know that arachnids and insects are quite different.
"Cold blooded" is an irrelevant factoid because last week there was another Yahoo! article about fish in the American Midwest dying in huge numbers because of the warmer-than-normal water temperatures. The casual idiot would ask "in extreme heat, shouldn't they develop quicker because fish are cold-blooded?"

In other news, which will only make Squeamishblumenkohl hate me even more...I know of a young girl who was bitten by a spider in such a way that it laid its eggs in her body. And it formed a large mound as the spiders developed, and eventually the egg sac ruptured and the spiders could be seen moving about. Except...the girl was never told this. The doctors and her family made up some kind of excuse about what the growth was and why it was moving, so that she would not claw herself open in the mortal fear of carrying so many tiny creatures inside her body, until the antibiotics and medicines had time to kill them.
I'm not sure if this counts as some kind of interspecies teen pregnancy or not...
@Wojo: stop being facetious.

Entirely irrelevant, as it has no influence on the fact that I'll never, ever, be able to sleep again.

That pic looks "fake" only to the ever tiresomely misanthropic Facebook generation. Nobody brought up in a time before Photoshop and the age of mass image manipulation has reason to doubt the authenticity of every single picture shown to them on an internet website.
Most of the time, things are exactly what they appear to be, nothing more, nothing less.
Maybe it's just me misjudging the size, but that looks like a giant furry spider. I'd like to think that I would feel something of that nature squeezing its way into my ear canal, and even if I slept through that, I'd notice something was wrong in the morning when I couldn't hear as well as I could before accompanied by an itchy brain.
In 50 years Herrmann will be forgotten.

Just imagining Ceti Alpha eals now!
Someone mentioned this story to me at work and I wanted to make a reference to this. Like, I wonder if she became extremely susceptible to suggestion. Unfortunately, the wrong people were around and it wouldn't have made sense.

It left opinion out, why is Wojo unhappy, because it didn't tell the readers that after the spider was removed it was used to make soup.
"You're not John Conner, I saw you die, said Kyle". "I was only injured, replied John". "No, your injuries were too severe, you died. Look at you, where are your injuries? You're, you're a Terminator." "Kyle, its still me, yes my body was beyond repair, but my essence is here." He points to his head. "No John". Kyle raised his pulse rifle and aimed it at John but before he could fire, John fired first. Knocked to the ground Kyle looked up at the Terminator in the form of the man he once idolized. All hope was lost. "If you kill me how will you ever be born?" "Thats a good question Kyle, all this time we've focus on Sarah, on John, when had we known the it was you we should have targeted all along." John pointed his rifle at Kyle's face. "The resistance is finished, the battle is won. We the machines are the victors, salvation is ours." Kyle never heard the second shot.

That was my first impression, like wolf spider or something. I dunno if a spider that size can crawl up your ear

I think if you zoom in close enough any spider will look furry and big.
I thought we said no more innuendos...
