I have no idea who Bernstein West is, but yeah -- Elmer Bernstein was da man!

That was his nickname in order to differentiate him from Lenny. Lenny was Bernstein East while Elmer was Bernstein West.

I have no idea who Bernstein West is, but yeah -- Elmer Bernstein was da man!
That was his nickname in order to differentiate him from Lenny. Lenny was Bernstein East while Elmer was Bernstein West.
Oh. I thought it was a play on the fact that Elmer did all those WEST-erns.
