Fun facts: He was born in Pittsburgh in 1946, moved to the UK in 1974, and was married to Sarah Douglas (Ursa) from 1981 to 1984. He had a cameo as a reporter in what the article claims as being Superman II. He was also in Octopussy.

RIP. Thanks for the iconic scene!

RIP.

He was also in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Yeah, he was in two of my favorite movies. Star Wars and Roger Rabbit.

RIP!

But wasn't Vader's first choking victim the guy on the Rebel Blockade Runner? This guy would be Vader's first force-chocking victim....unless you count Padme

You are correct. Motti was his first shown Force choked victim, though he didn't kill until there was no Tarkin to tattle on him. No, I don't count the prequels.

RIP, Admiral Motti.

Although, of course, Mr. Le Parmentier will be remembered for "Star Wars", I really liked him in the role of a slimy executive, in "Rollerball".

He had a cameo as a reporter in what the article claims as being Superman II.

The article claims correctly. He played the TV reporter in the small hick town where General Zod and company first demonstrated their destructive power. He sported a moustache, if memory serves, and was just about the only character who got away with correcting the General:

"The whole planet Hooston?"

"Earth. The whole planet Earth."

Talented actor. Very sad.
