He had a cameo as a reporter in what the article claims as being Superman II. He was also in Octopussy.RIP. Thanks for the iconic scene!
Xander Harris 9,674 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Yeah, he was in two of my favorite movies. Star Wars and Roger Rabbit."Turpentine, acetone, benzine. He calls it THE DIP."
indy4 160 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 RIP!But wasn't Vader's first choking victim the guy on the Rebel Blockade Runner? This guy would be Vader's first force-chocking victim....unless you count Padme
Wojo 2,458 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 You are correct. Motti was his first shown Force choked victim, though he didn't kill until there was no Tarkin to tattle on him. No, I don't count the prequels.
Naïve Old Fart 13,023 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 RIP, Admiral Motti.Although, of course, Mr. Le Parmentier will be remembered for "Star Wars", I really liked him in the role of a slimy executive, in "Rollerball".
Uni 307 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 He had a cameo as a reporter in what the article claims as being Superman II.The article claims correctly. He played the TV reporter in the small hick town where General Zod and company first demonstrated their destructive power. He sported a moustache, if memory serves, and was just about the only character who got away with correcting the General:"The whole planet Hooston?""Earth. The whole planet Earth."Talented actor. Very sad.- Uni
