  1. To avoid another DOD situation, I pre-ordered both the CD and vinyl through Waxwork. 😎
  2. Will the CD also be sold through Music Box Records at some point?
  3. Yes, very true. It will be dependent on a combination of what you said and my previous post.
  4. John Williams could very possibly win. His ‘Ennio Hateful Eight moment’. At his age and the reputation behind him, it would be such a great headliner for the Academy and the industry. With the politics that happen behind the scenes, don’t rule this scenario out so easily.
  5. Thanks @Arnaud2!
  6. Can you perhaps elaborate on the instrumentation of the score? Is it purely orchestral? Was there any use of voices or a choir? Any particular solo instruments that stood out at some point (piano, cello, …) Thanks.
  7. Great, with a different preview of listen…, although a very short sample.
  8. I think this is one of the most viewed videos of John Williams’ music and has been around for some time. It introduced many people to the Theme from Schindler’s List and although it is far from my favorite performance, it isn’t the worst either. The impact of this particular video, cannot be underestimated though. Thanks for sharing. Schindler’s List has always been one of my favorite scores and has a special place in my heart.
  9. GSA Music now mentioning Disclosure Day: https://www.gsamusic.com/clients/john-williams/ "His 50-year artistic partnership with director Steven Spielberg has resulted in many of Hollywood’s most acclaimed and successful films, including Schindler’s List, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the Indiana Jones films, Munich, Saving Private Ryan, The Adventures of Tintin, War Horse, Lincoln, The BFG, The Post, The Fabelmans, and Disclosure Day."
  10. Star Wars, E.T. or Schindler’s List
  11. Hopefully Born On The Fourth Of July, such a wonderful score.
  12. I find it a bit odd that there seems to be only one picture of the billboard on the entire internet. I see the same photo everywhere and not a single different shot. Although the image intrigues me -legit or not- it looks like a darker Spielberg film then I was hoping for, akin in style to Minority Report or War Of The Worlds. I’m personally longing for Spielberg’s mysterious UFO-film to be closer to the spirit of CE3K or E.T. If only for the score it could bring forth…
