Well I know most of you have heard that John Ottman will be Scoring "Superman" for Bryan Singer and some of us wonder if they will honor Johnny's Score. Well...here is your answer... "Much of the resonance in the first "Superman" film stemmed from the subtle elements of its design. Singer, a fan himself of the Donner film, recognizes that certain aspects must be preserved in this newest addition. He plans to extract parts of the original score, and the costume will need no major revamping." But this is possibly Williams Best Theme in my opinion....and it would feel weird having Supes take off with some new theme behind him. Thought everyone would want a heads up on this. Lets hope Ottman can pull off something great. Discuss away...

First time poster, long time ummm reader on the forum ....I just saw this with some friends tonight and the theater seemed to really enjoy the movie and was thankfully packed. Shearmur i think did a fantastic job....yeah we can compare this to williams or goldsmith(well i should throw in the Shore guy now huh?)....but heck....what CAN'T you anymore in terms of adventure, fantasy scores. But we can all say he did a very admirable job. I won't spoil it for anyone....what a great way to end the movie on that joke...the theater and all my friends just busted out laughing. Big thumbs up to Kerry Conran....a great start for a first timer. anyways....love the site....glad to finally join in on the madness...
