  1. Wouldnt it have been more....logical...for JW to use a milder version of the Imperial March in that scene with the Clones? Then used his cool-er new-er version in the end shot like it already does. Also, in the scene when Dooku comes back and meets with Sidious, you can hear a bit from the Trip Through the Centre of the Planet theme in Episode 1 (?!?!). What else? I dunno...but it feels like he just concentrated on Across the Stars (which is great!) and thought, 'Oh yeah, I'll throw this theme in here...and this one here....oh oh, dealine is coming. George is ganna be pissed. Damn George for not finishing the editing sooner! Damn him damn him damn him'.
  2. Old Spielberg = Masterful Modern Spielberg = pretentious bollocks
  3. Hi everyone! I just signed up to the board 'cause I was listening to the Williams' SW Compilation CD I have and saw you guys seem to dig the music, but dont really hero-worship the man. Maybe I'm wrong, but thats from only a few minutes of browsing the strings On the Williams front, I have been anti-williams for a long time now because of his constant self-plagarism. But then I was just listening to this CD and figure, "Hey, when he gets it right, he gets it RIGHT." He can score. He just cant seem to score without copying something from another movie. Anyways.... I'm 21. I'm working on getting into Australia's national film school and I want to be a high-budget director (who doesnt??). Career-wise I have one short film and several crew positions to my name. I used to study IT at university but then realised I would rather knaw off my own leg! Favourite Band is Pink Floyd. Favourite Film Scores (that arent the original SW trilogy's) are: "Face/Off" by John Powell, "Gladiator" by Hans Zimmer, "A Beautiful Mind" by Horner, "The Thin Red Line" by Zimmer....maybe some others....hard to find a good soundtrack really. Favourite Classical Pieces: "To Kill A Mockingbird (Suite)" by Elmer Bernstien, "Carmina Buranna" by Carl Orff, "Fire in a Brooklyn Theatre" (Come See The Paradise) by Randy Edleman and 9th Symhony, 4th Movement by Beethoven. Best Composer: Beethoven Later!
