Eminence is a pretty new orchestra, which means they are still working towards building their reputation and of course they get a lot of "who the heck is eminence" But trust me, Eminence is of high quality! They're not just a bunch of .. well, young students from somewhere outta nowhere. The orchestra actually has a lot of professional musicians from everywhere. People who are from the SSO, MSO, All major orchestras around the world, professional soloists who have won international competitions and such. And a lot more~ And of course, to build up their rep! They need all the support they can get - which is getting people to attend their concerts and just to listen and see and go 'wow'. I guess it's reasonable for ppl to not pay say $60 to see something they're unsure of. But maybe the cheaper range say $30 of $20 if your'e student,isn't so bad~ And if they suck, well, just tell yourself never to bother with them. But i dunno, listening to an orchestra live and listening to something on CD is just so different. I have been to their concerts before, the one last year where they played Final Fantasy + Studio Ghibli music. THAT was amazing. I was just.. O_O and ~~~ however, listening to it again on CD was nice, but ...... hm, Different. Oh well, I play piano, I've always wanted to sorta play in an orchestra as a dream kinda thing and play the music that i like, so mainly gaming/anime/movie soundtracks. And they just happen to do that for me And i dunno, just to keep them alive~ And... omg this is such a long post.
