  1. I think he might win. This is the(last) year of pencil&paper&heart. Those generic computer owners will have plenty of chances.
  2. I love that weird chord in 3:37
  3. I am not going to read any of the JWfan's reviews of this score. I made that mistake in 2015 with TFA. I read here it's bad and John has lost it and I almost couldn't sleep. Then I went see that movie and the score was one of the best of JW's career. Odd ears here.
  4. Never happened to me. I fell in love with JW in 1977 for some obvious reason x 2. I still listen to his music at least every other day, thanks to Youtube, there are wonderful JW score analysis with the reduced score, if one doesn't read music those are of course uninteresting. And there are brilliant concerts to rewatch, Berlin, Vienna etc... And his brilliant output in 2010's, so many masterpieces, how many times have I watched Dear Basketball... Can't wait to retire soon from my orchestra because of the bicycle accident(hit my upper lip to the asphalt) to explore more of the music of this wonderful man. "Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music."
  5. I hated Dracula so many years, I even gave my CD to some member of this forum. But then I heard it in Berlin, it is now my top 3 Williams themes. And. If you are not specifically hating orchestral music, not getting E.T. or CE3K is beyond my understanding.
  6. Really? I thought the life expectancy would be something like 75 for men... (Edit: oh you were talking about Steven?)
  7. I even changed my vote that there would be JW's music in it, the last great chance. And this shit......
  8. I noticed that the European (estimated) premiere will be on June 11th, same day as my 60th birthday. Thank You Steven and John for the neat birthday present in advance!!
  9. Masterpiece. As all his scores in that decade.
