#904566 If you were a film composer, in what genre you'd like to be typecasted?

Unabashed romantic epics like E.T. and Titanic. Particularly because high drama and action when woven with soaring pathos is what gives me the film music shivers and satisfaction more than anything else.

Ha ha ha what a load of shit

I love it when trips to the cinema are purposely made less cinematic, it's great.

It's a sweet theme with a lush melody.

LOVE the Starman theme, although I normally listen to the orchestral recording.

Abrams is hugely overrated as a director and I think the expectation surrounding him is overblown and unfair (on him). He should be making Final Destination movies or something, Jeepers Creepers 3, that sort of thing. Instead he's been given these massive budgets and the keys to the city to make these thunderous blockbusters off the back of a bloated but successful tv show. He's being asked to be the new Spielberg, when he's yet to make his Jaws.

The interesting restaurant shot is what I find stands out the most out of the pics on this page, followed by the car at the top. But just the car itself, not the unnaturally soft surroundings. The car looks cleanly and attractively captured compared to everything else.

Understandable. The thought of Walt Disney pulling out is hideous.

#900266 Who is the sexiest young celebrity these days?

Those monsters would already have significant gravity issues now

I remember a book by Asimov where women grown on the Moon were tall, had large breasts and walked around naked.

Houston, we don't have a problem. Nope, no problems at all.

This just in for Thor: humour isn't restricted to YOUR personal perception of it.

It basically boils down to childish namecalling & sandbox rhetorics.

Yes, and it was was very funny for it!

It was something made only for letting people have a laugh. Film score fans take things too much seriously.

No, if it's funny, it's funny. See SOUTH PARK clip above. But if there's no cleverness behind it -- like in the Kaplan video -- it just becomes childish and annoying. Big difference. It steps over the line from being funny and satirical to being offensive to Zimmer, Zimmer fans and everyone who appreciates well-directed and clever comedy.

Oh shut up!

She was never manly. Sultry and demure, but never manly. She belonged in a Verhoeven movie.
