  1. Sex scenes? Profanity? Drug use? Gore? The way it's going none of these will surprise.
  2. Why on earth would they use the mag track on the 35mm? What happened to to audio masters? Am I getting confused with the optical track on a 35mm print?
  3. Final Revised Film Score 59:15 1-1 Main Titles 2:54 1-2 Gas Station / Leaving Belle's 2:05 1-3 Earl's Truck By / Photos / No Help 4:13 1-4 Route 7-North Composed By – Basil Poledouris, Richard Marvin 7:44 1-5 Deep Wacko / Heist Explained 4:33 1-6 The Bank Composed By – Basil Poledouris, Richard Marvin 5:07 1-7 Bringing Money To Earl /Jeff In The Truck / Jeff Stabs Earl / Cop Pursues Composed By – Eric Colvin (2), Judd Miller, Steve Forman 4:12 1-8 Earl And Cop Shot / Speeding Truck Climb Composed By – Basil Poledouris, Eric Colvin (2), Judd Miller, Richard Marvin 6:58 1-9 In The Freezer 3:36 1-10 Jeff Sneaks Into House / Deke Freeze / Car Chase 9:27 1-11 Truck Ramming / Climb The Truck / The Truck Falls Composed By – Basil Poledouris, Richard Marvin 3:59 1-12 End Credits 4:3 7 I only need the Basil tracks. What the heck is going on with my text. That's sad to hear. Hopefully Quartet, Music Box or Intrada will consider it, even if only a 500 copy run. It's a fantastic score, one of David Newman's finest.
  4. This gives me hope that LLL may re-issue The Phantom and Breakdown (only the Poledouris score) someday.
  5. I had the DVD set but donated it without watching it. Not sure why I did that.
  6. Has John Williams ever had a more disappointing cover artwork on an OST before? I don't think so.
  7. Listened to the first third of this and it's not my cup of tea at all. I'm sure it will work in the film, which seems to lean heavily into 80s kitsch. For all its flaws, at last MOTU '87 didn't wink at the audience every 5 minutes.
  8. My space can accommodate up to a 75". My eyes are so bad even with glasses that my 51" plasma is now too small and I can't sit closer due to how my space is layed out.
  9. I'm thinking of getting a 4k display later this year. I'm looking at sizes from 65" to 75". What size would be preferable from a UHD perspective? I've heard that the larger displays sometimes struggle with black levels, and unfortunately I'm not able to afford OLED. I don't have an Ultra HD BD player so I'll be using streaming and the occasional iTunes 4k movie purchase.
  10. @Knight of Ren does the whole score lean into the same asthetic as the Eternia singles, or is there some more orchestral stuff in there?
  11. A little bit of low key score can be heard in this clip. Not feeling the tone of the film if this is what they are going for. (i.e. camp). This makes miss Frank Langella and Meg Foster.
  12. I picked up the Varese CD issue of the OST after I got the Intrada, and honestly I think it's a sufficient presentation of the score for me. I'm happy for those that are excited by this new further expanded issue.
  13. I mainly buy these to get a hold of music that I may not have on CD, for example Jumanji and The Mummy (I only have the OSTs not the complete scores).
