  1. relax guys... everything's there.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Williams
  2. Very nice suite, indeed!! I am looking forward to hear the AOTC suite!
  3. honestly, where's the difference except that tiny star wars font at the bottom anyway?
  4. Allright, now my hint turned up on the main page, guess it was unknown then ..
  5. Hello! Ok, sorry for posting a direct link and confusion about it! But you can simply find the lengthly notes about the ROTS scoring on star wars.com. Just look for "The Final Chapters" pdf file. It was advertised somewhere in the later news or so! Best Regards Markuz
  6. Hello! Sorry if that's been posted before, but here LINK DELETED BY MODERATOR you'll find a lot of information, pics and interviews with Johnny Williams about scoring Revenge of the Sith! Best Regards Markuz
  7. That's for sure, but unfortunately I doubt that he'll be even nominated, as it is a sequel-score which I think are not allowed to be nominated at all? I'm sorry in case I violated any board rules, but those track-links I posted were not sourced from an illegal rip rather than the links to the official record-label website that hosts them?! I guess they weren't supposed to be found out but to be heard through the quicktime-panel that links to them, but I see no point that those links are illegal That's right, no matter how much I admire Williams' scores and scoring approaches, he wouldn't have been able to supply the movie with such a fitting score Davis' provided IMO... No theme-heavy score would have enhanced the movie-exoperiance as much as the antiphonal disharmonic musical approach of Davis does! Best Regards Markuz
  8. Wrong, those techno cues from Reloaded sound like watered down versions from Arnolds Bond scores. Well, I think that's just your personal taste and it's a question of opinion for us both, not a matter of fact I think. If you listen to the orchestra only cue of Burly Brawl from the Promo you'll probably appreciate the superior orchestral approach and the resulting complex techno-orchestra-synthesis... And maybe you want to read the interview in the new musicfromthemovies magazine to see how much work (and that's easily listenable for me) was put into that cue... Listen to the first cue from the Matrix Reloaded suite from the OST release, and then listen to Kirk's Explosive Reply from Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Pretty similar Stefancos- who prefers brilliant themes over suberb orchestration anyday. I just did that comparison and can hardly see any similarity Best Regards Markuz
  9. Lol... I'd love to hear those scores that sound like Matrix: Reloaded Arnold's electronica synthesis are not nearly as perfect as for example "Burly Brawl" and hence do not sound very much like it IMHO... And I think you need a lot of imagination to hear Horner within Reloaded, he's the last composer Davis' music is near to IMO Oh, I guess we'll hear that cue quite often in the future:) Every second TV-show/series/film-preview here in Germany now uses Tracks from Reloaded, so I prophesy Neodämmerung will be the advertisers' favourite in a few months Best Regards Markuz
  10. Hello! Here you can download a few tracks of the upcoming ingenious score from Don Davis from the official record-label homepage or listen to it as a stream here: http://intothematrixmusic.com/cmp/listen_rev.html DO NOT POST DIRECT LINKS So, how do you like it? I am especially stunned by "Neodämmerung" in it's glorious entirety Regards Markuz
  11. Yeah, I am from Germany and received my signed "Arcoss the Stars"-theme last weekend;) (See other Post..) Didn't you have any luck until now? Regards Markuz
  12. His age might be the reason for that
  13. So I suppose it's this one here? Someone was so kind to offer me a link wher all Williams Themes can be found in Scorch-format (written in notes): http://themes.jw-music.net/sw_attack_of_the_clones.htm Wher does my excerpt start, and wher does it end? It somehow looks a bit different on the page... Best Regards Markuz
  14. That would be nice, the bandwidth is just exceeded, so it will hopefully be back in an hour or so:)
