Hi, all. I recently started contributing to Stanford University's Folding@home project (and I encourage everyone else to do the same). This has made me more aware of the heat my laptop generates and how often its fan runs. So, what laptop coolers do you JWfans recommend? I'm more concerned about my machine's efficiency than it being a comfortable temperature on my lap, so as long as it stays steady on a tabletop, that is fine.

Any violin players?

Or any stringed instrument, for that matter. I know that older instruments are supposed to have better sound than those newly-made. My question is, how many years does it take for there to be a noticable difference in a violin's sound quality?
