  1. Found this today and have never seen it before. Not sure if it's been shared here before. The Today Show did a week's worth of interviews with ToD premiered (as they would do with Last Crusade as well). Steven, Harrison, John and Kate are interviewed. NBC Today - 1984 It starts at 17:38.
  2. He and my grandmother are about the same age. She's about to have a hip replacement. I'm told that it's not rare for people their age. Perhaps that's why he took off so much time. Just spitballing...
  3. Very doubtful. Entertainment Tonight still hold the rights to all of their old interviews. They wouldn't sublicense them out like this.
  4. RITY regularly posts clips of interviews that they have available for licensing and this was posted yesterday. Dunno where it originated but maybe some of you do. Thought you might find it interesting. Has a date of 1990-02-15
  5. Good for you. They call it "Jaws in Concert" because that's how it's being promoted. You can't very well charge $200+ by promoting it as a movie screening. I'm glad I went alone and wasn't seated near any miserable grumps who were annoyed by *gasp* applause and *gasp* shrieks of terror.
  6. It's easily rectified, usually. The couple next to me were doing the same during the opening and the older woman in front of me turned around suddenly and gave them a stern look. They shut up for the rest of the movie. I would think that anyone chatting through something like that who received a request to STFU would be met with approval by all of those surrounding them. However, yes - I think it is too much to ask from the typical MOVIE-GOER, which is what this is, by and large. Again, I can't emphasize this enough - for most, this isn't a concert. Hell, even for ME, this isn't a concert. A concert wouldn't show the movie. It's pretty silly to pay this money and expect a musical experience. The dialogue and effects were plenty loud during my performance on Friday. It's not just the audience that music has to contend with. Y'all need to look around and see what you're actually paying for cuz you've completely lost the plot.
  7. Here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DAZ3lt1NOt5 You guys are hilarious. I've never in my life used the "touch grass" phrase before but, having read these responses, it feels particularly apt here. This isn't a concert. It's a movie screening with an orchestra playing the score live in front of you. The audience is not your typical concert-goer who attends the symphony. Would i prefer to hear the score alone without the film being projected? Of course. However, that ain't gonna bring in the $$$ like these are. Yes we're paying $200+ for tickets but, in NYC, that's not as much of a luxury as some may think. Do you know how much rent is for a 1 bedroom?! $200 is peanuts. Just wow. It's like y'all forgot what it means to have fun and be a fan.
  8. That wasn't an audience member. It was a member of the orchestra. It was there all 3 nights and is cued by Anthony if you watch the video of it. I was there on the second night and, I have to say, if you expect to go to these with a completely silent audience, you're going to be extremely disappointed. It seemed like your entire "review" is filled with gripes about who was reacting to what and how. It's a concert and a film. People are going to react as such.
  9. Everyone sometimes exaggerates. It's not exclusive to celebrities nor do they do it more than anyone else.
  10. That tells me everything I need to know about you. Anyone listening to Rogan or Carolla shouldn't be talking about what's "beneath them." If anyone wants the link to the Apple podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/john-williams/id1521578868?i=1000658207697 It was probably recorded about a month ago. John is the surprise guest. It's a surprise to the other 2 hosts - not to the audience. They just signed a multi year deal worth more than $100 million. https://variety.com/2024/digital/news/siriusxm-smartless-deal-jason-bateman-sean-hayes-will-arnett-100-million-1235890616/ It's incredibly popular.
  11. It's arguably the most popular podcast going. That's like saying someone shouldn't have gone on the Tonight Show in the 60's because it's beneath them. I can't roll my eyes hard enough. Oh and btw Sean is a classically trained pianist.
  12. And they're actors. What's your point?
  13. You're literally participating on a fan board of a "celebrity." Spare me the BS.
