Sometime last year I saw a special, here in the U.S. that had John Williams conducting. I cannot remember if it was the Boston Pops show, if he was being honored or what. Anyway, during the show, he had a black lady singer come out and they talked and then John sat down at the piano while this lady sang. I cannot remember her name or the name of the song, but I can remember part of the lyrics being something like "you give me rainbows" or something like that. Does that sound familiar to you? It was like a slow jazzy bluesy kind of song, and he played so well. Would you happen to know anything about this show, the song, or any other John Williams sites I might go to and try and find out?
