According to the article, you have to calculate a small padding range in the upper frequencies for filters and antialiasing, so the covered 22kHz raw range might be a bit too short for healthy ears.Based on nyquists theorem and the range of the human ear, it's LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to tell the difference between sample rates above 44.1/16. Higher sample rates just bring in supersonic frequencies that will cause inter modulation which hurts the sound quality of the file. So cd quality is optimum.
Adults do not hear above circa 10-15 kHz (young adults: 16 kHz, with older people it goes down to 5 kHz). So 22kHz should be plenty for everybody older than 15.

Cello, Basson, Horn, Oboe are masterpieces in my opinion. Both Violin Concerti are very good, too, close behind. The Flute one is too "modern" for my taste, but I applaud him for trying something different. Harp, trumpet, clarinet and tuba are nice and entertaining, but more lightweight.
In Topic: What are the most uninteresting themes of Williams?

I see Tintins "Theme" more like a motiv, a building block for the composition. Iin general I like to compare the Tintin soundtrack compositionally with Haydn (small motiv based) while War Horse would be more like Mozart (more based on longer themes). In that way I find the Tintin motiv a stroke of genius with all the variations Williams develops over the film. It is a soundtrack that has grown so much on me that I now rank it among my favorite Williams of all time. I simply do not get tired to listen to it.
I agree with Hymn of the Fallen, Battle of the Heroes and Dobby somewhat, but one has to keep in mind that Williams might intentionally use very simplistic progressions to describe a characteristic (which seems to be the case in Dobby). Also I want to add the Patriot main theme as quite uninteresting. I haven´t decided about Lincoln yet...
