When people say he rips off Schumann or Kahacaturian, do you mean he steals everything? I have noticed some things that sound like other classical works but I think if you look hard enough you can find that anything anybody has written sounds like another piece. I, myself, see a man who was inspired by these previous pieces. Of course, there are people on this board who are so much more knowledgable about the pieces that Horner borrows from.
