  1. I got the French CD release today.
  2. Yes, that's right. RIP Catherine O'Hara.
  3. I got 13 titles this year, two of them are now at the Dutch customs.
  4. I forgot two more differences: on the new release "Making Toys (Little Band Overlay)" and "Making Toys (Percussion Overlay)" can now also be heard over the last 30 seconds or so of Making Toys (Film Version) (disc 1, track 6) just like in the film and are also available separately on disc 2, tracks 23 and 24. The previous releases presented the cue without the overlays, but they were included on disc 2, tracks 8 and 20. And on the previous releases both overlays were named differently as "Making Toys (Carousel Version)" and "Patch Toys (Percussion Insert)" respectively (disc 2, tracks 8 and 20).
  5. I've ordered Black Rain, The Celluloid Closet, Heaven Can Wait and Santa Claus: The Movie and received them yesterday. I've listened to Santa Claus: The Movie and here are the differences I noticed in comparison to the previous releases: First of all the new mix is an improvement. You can hear things that couldn't (really) be heard on the previous releases. Main Title - Every Christmas Eve / Santa's Theme The album version of this cue (disc 3, track 1 on the previous releases) is not included on the new release. On the album version the last 20 seconds were omitted unlike on the intented film version (disc 1, track 1 on the new release). The film didn't use those 20 seconds. The Ancient One On the previous releases the violins were placed in the middle which always bothered me, because it was the only cue that did that. On the new release they're placed on the left like the rest. Cornelia's Home and Flight From Police Both cues are shorter on the new release. This is what Chris Malone had to say about it on the Film Score Monthly message board: And both pop songs, "It's Christmas All Over the World" by Sheena Easton and "Shouldn't Do That" by Kaja are only included on the previous releases (disc 3, tracks 8 and 9). Maybe there are more differences, but these ones stood out for me. Enjoy listening to this new release.
  6. I got a shipping notice for this (and Karate Kid: Legends and The Passion Oratoria DVD) this morning.
  7. I got my latest La-La Land order in today and thought I ordered Black Sunday and Thunderball, but it turns out that instead of Thunderball I ordered On Her Majesty's Secret Service. So now I have two copies of On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Oh, well...
  8. Posted about a half hour by Lukas on his site: lukaskendall.com/post/it-s-the-admin-password
  9. Mondo has started to ship the orders. I just got my shipping notice.
