  1. Thought it was a cool idea..Just don't kill me people 🤷🏻😅😂 YouCut_20260605_152545337.mp4
  2. Some beautiful string section writing right there…As a professional violinist ( musician at Sychronstage Vienna, weekly recordings for Netflix, Hollywood, etc) I can only say…Gorgeous! Reminiscent of Vaughan Williams, Elgar or Taverner in JW own late style Love this, cant wait to listen to the whole work
  3. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BAmvCCfMu/ Some info on the recording sessions and the Synchron Stage Orchestra here in Vienna, Austria Had a blast recording this particular score, fantastic to work with Gordy Haab!
  4. A very cool alternate CD cover by Tony Stella, fantastic artwork..!;)
  5. Love it that this wonderful theme is somewhat a variation on his Hollywood Golden Age main theme for Sabrina (very logical decision IMO😁) - Williams uses the same melodic sequence and harmonic development;) Its even more so in the Perlman Solo violin and orquestra version (Album:Cinema Serenade already mentioned here) Borrowing from his own work and giving it a more intense almost dramatic feeling. I for sure love this beautiful, complex and memorable theme!
  6. So they can sell the digital version well first?..🤷‍♂️🤔
  7. This is the audio-only clip, removed the dialogue but not the background noise You can focus on the music though..I tried ;)🙃🤠 Sounds like a bit of a mix of "Basket game" and "A Whirl through Academe" Record_2023-05-15-12-50-56 (online-audio-converter.com).wav
  8. I can already hear the dialogue going on while this theme is playing in the background...things like: "trust me..""I hate arrogant men""me?a conceded ape?""I dont like fast women""Oh Indy.." "I love Sicily.."
  9. If you like Horner, this is a must! The best one, up there with Krull, Rocketeer, even better in terms of orchestration, theme development (even if some themes / motifs were borrowed from Schumann, Beethoven etc ) , harmonically and melodically wise. My opinion as a professional violinist..:) A gem!
  10. here's a fresh one from yesterday at the Musikverein here in Vienna..😉 looking good Mr Williams!
  11. Well, that's the whole problem, he doesn't even bother to give you a proper review, not gonna waste his breath on film music, just a very superfluous look on the whole idea of a film music concert, a concept that conveys more of a fun factor that actual quality.. Mr. Ender gives you the feeling that this is something that should be left to the fans and doesn't really belong in a concert hall. I would have appreciated more of a real, down-to-earth analysis of the music and its interpretation(being a first for the VPO), than a poor and IMHO not really funny comparison to a sermon.. Believe me, as a violinist living in Vienna, I know and have to live with these critics every single day. But that's just me
  12. Its really embarrassing, it shows that he is not use to writing these kind of film music reviews and has decided - in the most arrogant way possible - to step down from his throne, getting off his usual „traditional viennese concert“ review and do a review of „filmmusic“ just to show off and be able to mock it a bit...Ahhhhhhhh, terrible this viennese „we know what classical music is...you dont“ attitude ..🤮🙄😤
