I'm nervous about any listing that doesn't even say which orchestra is performing..... I've had both good and bad experiences with that. I'm still very excited about this though! How amazing. (potentially!!)

Everyone seems to be writing this off as simply a remaster. It quite clearly says Mike has remixed it too, from fresh high res transfers. Sounds like a similar situation to the Jaws score tracks. Anyway. Bring it on! Wonderful to have this out there again, and I look forward to seeing what Mike has done with the material.

I had the same thought when I heard it, but my mind went to the COPP "Best Of Adventure" album. Very very similar arrangement.

My absolute dream for a Williams concert would be to have..... something from Jaws 2, The Eiger Sanction, The ballroom scene from Witches of Eastwick Monsignor And to be honest so many others. We'd all be sat there for 6 hours and it would be glorious There's a middle section where John plays solo piano. Sabrina, Fabelmans and The Long Goodbye Oh, and the final piece of the night is the main title of Star Wars, but it transitions into the End Credits from Empire. Then I collapse and get carried out on a stretcher.

Do I have to hope and wait for another scheduled stream, or does it get to the point where I can just click and play? I have 30 days free access, but I won't use that unless I know I can see this again in that time window.

Wow wow wow wow! What a performance. That was really something special. He had such command of that orchestra. Some really lovely dynamic moments which he brought to several pieces. Absolutely loved it. I’m really so sorry not to be able to make the meetup. @GerateWohl it was great to meet you briefly, and also @scoreman36 but frustratingly I was called away. Wish I was having a beer with you all now. Roy and I bumped into this guy on the way in. He seemed pleasant enough.

agreed. It’s actually quite peculiar that even the old Spielberg album notes aren’t reproduced here. That would have worked nicely, along with the other images the CD and original LP releases had. But in this case, what else were they going to put in the gatefold?…. A nice picture of the hook perhaps 😂
