@Marc This is actually 1M2 The Cross of Coronado and 1M3 Away We Go!, rather than 1M1 Scouting Party.

new discovery - original Cantina Band cue title
BrotherSound replied to enderdrag64's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Usually the titles written in after the original titles are scratched out are the album titles. So, it appears JW may have been considering including the second cantina band tune as part of the ‘Cantina Band’ album track. -

Williams expansion predictions/dreams for 2026
BrotherSound replied to 1977's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing: there’s 1:38:25 of score in the film (according to the SABAM Repertoire database), and the album is only 47 minutes. -
Don’t you mean Luke’s theme at the end?
-
I edited the missing middle section back into the film. It still basically fits, though if you watch the Mark Graham video closely, the cut back to Exegol should happen right on the final chord of 7M21 Parents, so it appears the middle bit with Finn and Rose was slightly extended. I guess that could explain why this section was cut. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pfmTee01J0kZ8McUhlIKn0XbnMDiyuEN/view?usp=drivesdk

John Williams is "working with Steven Spielberg" on his 2026 UFO movie!
BrotherSound replied to Jay's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
I believe it was the main title and ‘The Starkiller’, possibly the end credits. Notably, that’s all music that doesn’t require any precise synchronization to picture, since that’s a pretty specialized skill.
