  1. Man oh man, I hope Disney finally releases all of the deleted scenes! Or at least the extended cut in SD
  2. From the beautifully written, comprehensive chapter about Marcia on the Secret History Of Star Wars website: Highly recommended
  3. Yeah, it's interesting that no new features were produced for the Troy set, not even any commentaries
  4. I'm guessing that Sony might release a 50th anniversary edition
  5. A whole slate of new concert dates for October-November 2026, thankfully including the northeastern U.S. I plan to attend the one in NY on November 1st
  6. More information from the Gremlins Museum about the rough cut, namely that it runs 174 minutes(!) and that a second tape donated by Joe Dante contains an additional 40 minutes of outtakes
  7. The "Riverwalk" cue from The Pelican Brief
  8. The first score has some cues that sound like they were re-recorded for the album (including "Gonna Fly Now"), and the fanfare for the opening fight with Spider Rico is unreleased; apart from that, i don't know what else is missing
  9. Another round of concerts for September-October of this year: https://www.ghostbustersinconcert.com/ Does anyone know if any of the unused music was restored? And if the ondes martenot was indeed performed live?
  10. Supposedly First Blood was used as temp music for that long-lost workprint of Total Recall
  11. It's a documentary showing Pacino mounting a production of Richard III
  12. I think there are a few bits in that extended cut that weren't included on the deleted scenes from the original DVD. One for sure is when Col. Tavington catches a firefly with his bare hand just before he meets the sole survivor of Martin's caravan attack. I suppose it's meant to humanize him
  13. Not yet; that's one Bond film that keeps eluding me
  14. I'll add one more: 12 Monkeys by Paul Buckmaster (and Astor Piazzolla )
  15. Just Del Toro's adaptation and the 1935 Bride Of Frankenstein Admittedly it's not, which is why I don't like some of De Palma's films, but I defer to the film's screenwriter, Frank Darabont, who makes a convincing case for why the operatic approach didn't work for the source material:
