This forum is afterall devoted to film music and soundtracks and clearly what I posted is well within the topic. I posted these here as a favor to La-La Land Records since they don't happen to belong to this forum. These exact same posts have already appeared at moviemusic.com and FSM's messageboards. What I'm rather amazed at is that most of the posters seem more interested in bitching and moaning about me making the posts, then perhaps taking a moment to play the audio clips and make some sort of comment (good or bad) about this and the other releases. Really? I personally am planning to avoid this. I cannot imagine Ashton Kutcher giving a good serious performance. "Dude ......... whats my line?" Then you should perhaps keep a far more open mind,Because I felt the same way (along with everyone else at LA LA LAND RECORDS) before we saw the film. Afterwards we were blown away by the fact he shows beyond any doubt he has some really good acting chops. His character in the film is really put through the ringer during the course of this very good (and pretty dark) time travel movie and he really does an outstanding job (along with the actor who plays the younger verison of him) in selling this rather incredible story. The film was chosen to open the SUNDANCE FILM FETSTIVAL this week, so i wouldn't dismiss it beforehand. Ford A. Thaxton

One of the reasons some tracks are far better the others is very simple. This compilation covers tracks recorded over the last ten years. Some of the earlier recordings lack the polish and experience that the later ones do. It's the nature of the beast when you put such a compilation together from such an extended period of time. But on the bright side, this is a mid-line priced compilation that is far better then a number of Williams compilations that I've heard over the years. It's a good overview of the man's career and if you want to give this to the casual film music fan, it's got alot of bang for your buck. IMHO of course. Ford A. Thaxton
