The concert was on BBC four on 9th June at 8.30pm, and was broadcast on BBC radio 3.

The London Symphony Orchestra performed the Main Title from Star Wars as part of their 100th anniversary concert. The piece was conducted by Daniel Harding and received the biggest applause of the evening. Also, during the interval, video footage was shown of the original recording sessions in 1977.
