  1. Menken. But at least his music was good. or memorable.
  2. Yes… 3 years ago like rotj.
  3. I hope goranson enters that phase soon because you know it seems williams has had too many oscars since 1993.
  4. So the world war ii setting was a film thing. I read the books but indont remember it…
  5. Is Aslan going to be a lioness? Asleen? Or just a male lion with a otherwordly voice by a female actor (which is not as bad i suppose)
  6. I thought knights tale is a travesty of a movie.
  7. Exacly if the child is not careful and all pieces are mixxed and scattered… you step on several legos at once.
  8. OBVIOUS ONE set. "I went to buy a LEGO for my niece".
  9. I would prefer they gave one to Harrison Ford. And then that Harry thanks Williams for his music
  10. Luke Skywalker

    Hook

With the exception of the dated look of the Lost boys...the film is rather fine.
  11. sorry
  12. Yeah i have noticed the new legos even for childs have a great deal of new pieces and colours. Its weird. It feels really different. You have a set of 1000 pieces… but most of them are 1x1 plates or studs to make a more polished look for display… regarding the worth of my sets… ie just the black knights castle goes between 300-500€. I even have the box (unmounted, but its rebuildable). thats a lot of money to think about. My parents paid 50€ for it…. i think i could use these legos with them when they are older and keep them tidy, we can sell them when they grow up maybe for twice money since the prices seem to go up with time… I also noticed me and my siblings had just 3-4 years receiving lego sets (we only had a big set for christmas) , and it should have been more. Damn computers and videogames. it must be said that in the late 90s when the minifigures started to have expresive faces (western?) and star wars entered the lego brand all those new pieces looked artificial and forced and i disliked it.
  13. I have a question for Lego savvy people here. my children are coming fast to Lego age. I have all of my sets from the early 90s in very good condition, but i’m starting to think that giving them to the children is a very bad idea. Because if they are not careful they will mix and break parts between sets (which is the point of lego… but i never did it on my childhood) i dont want to sell them right now for nostalgia reasons… but would it be a financial madness to give it to them and became a pile of random lego pieces to be sold afterwards by weight? i have, for example black knights castle, forestmen hideout, dragons den, wolfpack tower, to name a few…
