Another really good podcast. I am following it up by listening to Desplat's score to Jurassic World Rebirth. -

Is PJ going to bring part(s) of The Silmariillion to the big screen? https://www.nme.com/news/film/peter-jackson-in-talks-to-adapt-j-r-r-tolkiens-the-silmarillion-into-films-3945593 The material is rich and I would very much love to have it adapted, if it is done well. What PJ did with The Hobbit films doesn't give me much hope though.

Composer Threads The Bear McCreary Thread

Bear says that his score for Percy Jackson was inspired by John Williams: Percy Jackson Composer Says the Show’s Music Was Inspired by John Williams. In spite of being a fan of his work, I haven't listened to any of this. I guess I will have to give it a shot. -
