Melt Down In Tears

19 April 2005 - 08:06 PM

Hi there, everyone!

God, has been a long time since I last started a new topic. :P

Well, what I want from you people is to know what are the most beautiful themes from the movies (and when I say beautiful I mean a theme that would melt you down in tears if you were that sensible). ROTFLMAO

Now, please keep in mind that I do not want this to become a discussion of "facts". I just want to know your opinion and what are the most moving themes for YOU.

Thank you, everyone. See you around.

Nell and Incognito

30 January 2003 - 04:46 PM

As you can see in my other thread, I usually don't buy scores without knowing if they are any good. But this time I came across some scores at 5 euros each and took a chance.

I just bought Nell (Mark Isham) and Incognito (John Ottman) but I haven't listen to them yet nor will listen until Saturday. So, what are your opinions about them?

P.S. - I know this is a John Williams MB but since I'm an occasional poster I hope you can forgive me for posting so many topics not related with JW.

Need help with Howard Shore scores

30 January 2003 - 04:05 PM

Well, I would like to expand my collection of Howard Shore scores (I just have LOTR - FOTR and TTT), but I have a hard time choosing because I don't want to risk buying a mediocre one. So I would thank a little help on this.  :)

Which style of score from Williams you prefer to listen?

29 July 2002 - 05:12 PM

You know the drill...

I've been thinking alot about this lately (I should get a life, I know   ) and I found out that I learned to enjoy the restrained kind of scores like Schindler's List and Angela's Ashes over any other style, including the action/adventure scores (I think I know what you're thinking: "he should be executed"   ). Remember that I'm not asking you what is the best style from Williams' scores, I'm only asking which one you enjoy the most as listening experience.
