I send him one on his Birthday (8th February), and one commenting on his newest releases as they come out. I usually get a reply within two months when he is busy. I have sent him around 10-20 letters since 1999. I get realtime replies from Howard Shore's nephew...Ryan Shore when we meet online, and replies from Howard in around 2-3 weeks. I send them directly to him (No I'm not going to tell you where I meet Ryan or his Uncles address... sorry but I promised). I have to send Johnnys letters to Symphony Hall in Boston.

I wrote him letters...and he replied to every single one and included an autograph in each envalope. I've been writing to him for YEARS! That is why this is such an urgent matter.

Ha! Ha! You guys are terrible! This is serious! I already have 8-10 of his autographs. I merely want to meet him before he dies. I made this mistake once already with Jerry Goldsmith and I am not about to do so again with the likes of John Williams!!!!

I am wondering if any of you John Williams fans knows any way to meet John Williams when he is in Chicago. I have four seats in various positions all booked for me so I will get within 20ft of him at the closest, but would like to meet him in person. I know him fairly well through letters but didn't have time to get one out to him to ask him personally. Any contacts at the Chicago Symphony would be much appreciated. Please help as the concert is next weekend! Thanks!
