  6. I already posted that I won't do those gray area releases anymore. Persey has been growing steadily ever since its initiation 10 years ago, and this second half of the year we have 24 releases coming up that we have signed contracts for, and we are working on yet more to come. So, we don't want to risk the chance of being shut down by anyone by acting amateurish.

  7. Given that this is a more "realistic" and darker Superman, plus what he did to Zod, shouldn't the title be Superman Rips Batman's Head Off and Shoves It Up His Ass?

  9. Quo Vadis was done early in Rozsa career and it still isn't the kind of boistrous sound he would employ in future movies. It's a much more intimate score, which makes it very unique. Especially with the addition of all the hymns and vocal pieces. A wonderful album to be sure and suite at the end is to die for. And El Cid has one of the greatest love themes in cinema history in my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esle00Apbic Karol

  10. Horner's Spider-Man theme There is some other good stuff out there, but this one emodies the character just perfectly. It has all the heroism, fragility and wonder you need - a very malleable theme. This is followed very closely by Silvestri's Captain America theme. Unbreakable is very good too, I agree. Especially the Vaughan-Williams like statement at 2:00 John Powell's X-Men theme is good (Phoenix theme is better, though), as is his Hancock theme. And Brian Tyler's cheesy Iron Man accompanies the character's chutzpah rather well too, I think. Karol

  11. I'm sure there is a lot of professional jealousy. On the other hand his concerts are very popular which is good for the composer/conductor and the individual musicians.

  12. 36, 35, and 32 years a little late to worry about it now, especially since all 3 scores are at the top of his game. Each is unique and a bit of perfection in their own right,

  14. I believe that's below mono -- a testament to Zimmer's astounding economy of musical expression. I believe there's a term for that - it's called nono. In Zimmer's case, he frequently uses what is generally referred to as "big nonos".
