I really liked everything about Radagast, including how quirky he is, and especially McCoy's performance........ except for the bird poop. Would have been happier without that.

I never said it was essential for every score, I said "For some score the complete presentation is essential" There isn't a single cue from Empire Strikes Back I'd remove in a personal edit

Just think if the OSTs did have all the final film versions, when we finally got all these alternate, earlier versions in like 5+ years, they would be mind blowing!

Yes! I think this is exactly right. At least, it's exactly right if the OST track is microedited to remove the original betting scene and most of the hadkerchief scene. I think it's still possible that the OST track is a non-edited full recording, of a cut of the scene that had no betting or handkerchief bits at all (perhaps when there was only going to be 2 films). I assume we'll find out eventually! Wha? Don't be mad, this was a great collaborative effort to figure out Shore's intentions!

Personally I liked Radagast, he was something fresh and new among a lot of homages and similarities to the original LotR films.
