Now there's something you sure as hell don't need to buy in a store anymore. -
Hey hey, if you want to talk about tennis start a golf thread!

If I hadn't chosen a PS3 over a 360 I sure wouldn't be going Blu. But then again, a big reason I got a PS3 was because it was Blu.

The Advent Children end credits are indeed awesome, one of my favorite Uematsu pieces. It certainly helps that it has my two favorite themes of this (VII main theme, main FF theme).

Black Sunday Wondering why I don't listen to this more often, it's gotten buried under the slew of great releases from this year. The first half is a bit slow and meh, but from Preparations on it's a suspense tour de force, really fantastic. -
The original Mass Effect had some nice music, heavy synth but it really worked. Liberi Fatali! Absolute classic. The middle of Uematsu's "trilogy" of great choral action cues, bookended by One Winged Angel (FF VII) and Divinity (Advent Children).

I'll let you know when I see the movie.

Get the rope.

It's one of Jerry's best. If you have any love for his work don't even question, just get it.

Link to the Past and Ocarina are the ones right up there too, game and score.

The more time goes by the more I'm sure that Twilight Princess is the best Zelda score, and it just might be my favorite Zelda game of them all as well.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

It's nice and it's great that it's more thematically driven that most '00s Williams action cues, but the more I listen to it the more I think that most of it is just generic filler in between the themes. I find myself going back more and more to the complete warehouse escape sequence as the score's best action cue. Or A Whirl Through Academe. -

I went to that Virgin when I went to Disney World a couple of years ago. I was amazed I found so many great and rare score CDs, and spent nearly an hour going through them all and narrowing down the list of what I wanted to get to what I could afford. Then I realized I could get them all cheaper online. -
Damn right we are!

You mean Woody Harrelson? Good God I need to put my brain back in my head. That's what working for a living does to you.

Better than Final Fantasy? -
The first half that has Woody Allen and all the insane SFX shots is the height of "so bad but so good" entertainment. The last act when they're all stuck in the ship is mind-crushingly dull.

I'm waiting for a better release of TMP-VI before getting them. I've read the current Blu releases are poor transfer rush jobs.
