The Spielberg thing is a total rumor... They never considered him, mainly because, I would guess, he is so closely associated with more science-fictiony films (even though the majority of his films are not those).

I've just really dicovered Corpse Bride and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. HOLY CRAP! The main Corpse Bride theme is unbelievebly beautiful and the way it is utilized is amazing! I've rarely heard such a beautiful moving note rhythm... Very, very fine stuff.

I don't like this Harry Potter score. I thought I would. But I don't. At all. It kinda sucks, actually. This score will work well in the movie. But... yuck.
Oh... and on a side note, at my highschool, we're doing a rather large medly of about 8 or 9 Shakespeare plays, including, ahem, Macbeth. Well, as cauldron scene from Macbeth is the first scene after intermission, I'm providing 'Double Trouble' as intermission music... Very fitting.

Some tracks almost sound like a much more mature Thomas Newman had a hand in them... But WOW! Lively... Very different than usual! Very very nice.

Another Year End, Cedric, and Hogwarts Hymm are all very nice and pretty... It hurts to think how much more thematic they could have been... Anyway, those are the only 3 songs I've been able to download from Limewire... The rest of the soundtrack was working but then it stopped. Anyway, it sounds ok so far.

Apparently, Jarvis Crocker is po'ed cause none of his songs are going to be released on an album... So... does that mean that none of the vocal songs on the C.D. are by Jarvis Crocker? I must have missed this.

Even though PoA is much fresher and is the score I keep revisting, PS is just... idk, awesome. So many themes that created the base for many of the themes in PoA... PS is quite simply brilliant... It rivals Hook and even E.T. Just very good.

I've heard cool rock songs before. This isn't one of them. Some of my favorite songs are rock... I don't like this, though. Yuck.

Speaking of Fawkes. I saw a picture of him and Harry from GoF... And Fawkes is still very animatronic. And very stiff looking. Oh course, most figures in pictures don't exactly move... But Fawkes looks exactly the same. So I have a feeling it'll be just as bad as he was in CoS.
