  1. Encores, by the way, were the Imperial March and ET Flying Theme... I must say, if you've never heard the Imperial March live, you are in for a treat. Chills. Even better with the Maestro himself conducting it (to the crowd's obvious delight). The Q&A went on for about 45 mins - don't think there was much news to the knowledgable Williams fan, but he was as funny and charming as I'd heard: --Lot of talk on why he's written Concertos for certain instruments and not others (Why no piano concertos, as that was his primary instrument? "It's hard.";-)) --He loves violin because its the most like the human voice - all our verbal communication is done with vibrating strings. Shaham wants him to write more --He's "very interested in the viola", at the moment --Spielberg is tiring him out this year - no time to compose in other forms --Props to one of the audience members for recalling Far and Away / seemed very impressed with how knowledgable the audience was of his body of work
  2. Tickets don't go on sale for non-Kennedy Center members until 10 Feb. I hope to grab one for the Thursday night show...
  3. I didn't say that, but its clear that my post was beyond you. I'm afraid it's exactly what you're saying. That, or you're claiming superior taste in music...
  4. I get it, its sorta like you saying the art work American Gothic, by Grant Wood is better than DaVinci's Mona Lisa. Its your opinion, and its valid, but nobody takes it seriously. Joe, who really did a disservice to American Gothic. So, your defense is, "More people agree with me?" Weak.
