I have Eduardo Tarilonte's Ancient Era Persia.
Does anyone know how you handle the release of a sample?
I mean there is a knob for the release on the sample itself, but how do you control this?

Oliver Stone has announced on his social media that Shout Studios will release JFK in December
I like that film. If it includes the theatrical cut, I'll buy it.

For the most part you could probably just use "Boys Choir Oos" and/or "Choir Women Oos" and add a bunch of reverb. Maybe pair it with "Whistling Choir", but I'm not entirely sure how that would sound.
I used eventually "Heaven's Shores" with the modwheel at 0.
It sounded to me closer...

Does anyone know any synth specifically from Omnisphere that resembles the opening synth here?

It exhausted me. It left me gasping for breath.
Ok. I guess you said this as a compliment.

What do you mean by that? I'm not sure I understood.

And the Te Deum. In which the lyrics specifically referencing god are neither in major/minor but build on open chords on top of a fourth/fifth ostinato, and only for the rest of the lyrics does the music assume clear major/minor keys.
I'm not acquainted with Bruckner at all, but some symphonies I tried to listen long ago, they seemed too heavy stuff..

Lohengrin.
Ah, yes, the prelude.
I had in mind the choral parts in Silvestri's The Abyss. Is there anything similar in classical music?

Can anyone recommend any classical work (romanticism/post-romanticism/impressionism) which depicts (or makes subconscious associations with) God and otherworldliness with maybe mainly major chords?
Was it any symphony by Mahler? I'm not familiar with them except the 5th.

I'm glad you're going through the ARABIAN NIGHTS thingies, filmmusic. What did you think of the Folk effort?
I liked it.
Although he doesn't compose many memorable themes generally, he has nice textures and orchestration.

I had to turn it off in the middle (I think).
I usually don't do that, but organ music for 1 voice is not my thing really..

It's going to look, and sound, spectacular!
How do you know?

Didn't we previously hear that it would be out this past March?
Yeah, I won't believe it until I see it.
And I hope he hasn't tealed and degrained the film, like Terminator 2 UHD!

Complete mono score (cds 2 & 3) following with the sheet music.
Ok, I admit I didn't listen to the last 8-9 tracks because I was somewhat bored or tired..
This is a very demanding score, and I think there are too many notes () and too many dissonances.
If we compare it to let's say Ben-Hur, I vastly prefer the latter which is more precise and clearer in its melodies/harmonies.

Percussion loops.
I cannot stand them.
It reminds me of songs, which have a specific drum loop.
The outcome seems to me very poor, and show the inability of a composer to keep the interest of the listener with other means, like constantly changing music..

Mine has shipped on September 20th, but I don't see any progress in the tracking info.
It's been stuck on 9/20.

Yes, yes, "La Porte de Nesle" is a BATMAN ripoff due to temp track love,
I think Elfman sued in which he won?

It looks and sounds really good too on the 4K disc
I wanted to buy it too, but it leans a bit on the yellow side.

The Criterion edition?
I'm waiting for comparison caps with the Studio Canal one, to decide which to get. (which has better encoding in essence)
