  1. Added to what? All JP and Jurassic World movies are included, including the new one not even released yet... Good one!
  2. Well, the first 3 JP movies alone seem very different in tone, characters, and emotions to me...
  3. Not at all. Williams would have constantly come up with new themes and ideas, giving each installment its own unique personality and tone, the way he did with the 9 Star Wars movies that he scored. Or are you of the opinion that the 9 Star Wars movies all have the "more of the same" kind of action scoring, too?
  4. Well, that just means these scores won't be predictable. Which is a good thing, isn't it?
  5. This is a tough one. Which would have been better? These days, I actually prefer the Jurassic Park scores over the Harry Potter scores... by a very slight margin. The action pieces in both Jurassic Park movies are second to none (well, maybe the Star Wars and Indiana Jones action pieces)! So I voted for Jurassic Park!
  6. And now if only somebody will do the Star Wars prequel trilogy... I can die a happy man!
  7. I'd say the 3 Oliver Stone movies... Born on the Fourth of July JFK Nixon Man, each one would be an instant buy for me!!
  8. Thanks for the advice, but I was just asking out of curiosity. I got the set on Day One, of course! Actually I had ordered it in the first 10 minutes after they started accepting orders...
  9. That's rather depressing to hear. These plants have one job, and they can't even fulfil the order of pressing 5000 units of a set? That sounds rather suspicious, yes, even with the current restricted circumstances. It's not like we're talking about the latest Adele album with a first printing of like 2 million.... That said, do you know how many HP boxsets have already been sold? How many are still left to be pressed and offered to the public?
  10. Isn't there an official explanation? What's going on? If the current manufacturing plants aren't up to the task, maybe LLL should look around for some other plants....
  11. Wow really? Didn't know that. What in the world is LLL doing? I can't believe that there's no more demand for this set....
  12. I don't mind at all when JW himself does it. He's the creator of the music, so I respect his decisions. I only do mind when somebody else does it, and badly at that.
  13. Putting aside the fact that the NYT is probably the most overrated and biggest purveyor of fake news in the US.... Well duh. He's 90. He probably won't be scoring for the next two decades (although that would be great, of course)!
  14. I'm happy for JW and LLL and anybody that managed to purchase this set, but I'd have thought the HP boxset or the JP boxset would go beyond 5000 copies first.... But when A.I. gets this treatment, then there's hope.
  15. Well, that's what I meant. Technically it may be a different edition, but for all intents and purposes, what it comes down to is that they printed more than 5000 copies of that expanded album... And the reissue Anniversary Edition was limited too, I guess? Do you know to how many copies? I initially intended to get Jaws 1-4 from Intrada, but I ended up getting only the first two. I don't regret not getting 3 and 4. As far as I remember they released those in reverse order. 4, then 3, and so on.
  16. Yeah, would have been weird. But the A.I. Anniversary Edition did go beyond the original limited 5000 units, right? That's long been OOP, after all.
  17. But that CD wasn't limited in the first place, right? Can't find it even on the second hand market...? I don't get this. Is this batch part of the original 5000 copies? Or is this in addition to the 5000 copies? I don't have several titles from the 60s, either. But then, so far I don't regret it. I practically never listen to any of these old scores... But that doesn't mean I may not come to regret it sometime down the road.
  18. Man, that's bitter. This is definitely one of my most listened to sets, ever. I still listen to it to this day. Is it available on the second hand market at all? At what prices does it sell these days...?
  19. And now they're OOP and not available at all or exorbitantly expensive on the second hand market.... Thankfully, I got all the major releases like the Jurassic Park boxset, the Harry Potter boxset, the Indiana Jones boxset, A.I., Home Alone, Hook, Minority Report etc. However, I haven't gotten LLL's Always and the Disaster boxset (yet). I'm wondering whether I'll come to regret it.
  20. Dark? Depends on what it means... Except for the ones already mentioned here, maybe the dissonant, terrifying, gutwrenching moments of JFK.
