  1. Mmm, a Bernstein Western. ttbk, who will be getting Scalphunters for sure...
  2. Listen to ESB...eat food...listen to ESB...eat food... No question. ttbk, Main Titles/The Ice Planet Hoth
  3. Dan Goldwasser posted at FSM last week saying that plans had changed, and the Special Edition would no longer have extra score. ttbk, who doesn't really like what he's hearing....
  4. Because In Dreams has a far greater impact coming immediately after The Breaking Of The Fellowship, as it does on the album. That's also the way it was recorded, there are a couple of obvious edits in the end credits between the end of the film and May It Be, and then again between May It Be and In Dreams. Enya only came first to sell more CDs. ttbk, who on top of all that, isn't a big fan of May It Be anyway....
  5. I don't really care about the track titles. I am disappointed to see In Dreams after May It Be though.... ttbk
  6. That's only about six minutes I think...but yes, we'll see... ttbk
  7. At the end I guess... That's the only thing I can think of that would be "end credits". ttbk
  8. Hmm, lots of highlights, I'd probably say I'm most looking forward to the introductions to the Gondor themes in Lothlorien and at the council. And all those renditions of The Ring theme, the only full statement of it on the OST is "The Great River". ttbk

  10. Today I listened to War Of The Worlds, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, and then couldn't decide; and listened to the main title from Superman and The Raiders March. After a couple hours, I came back and listened to CE3K again, and then finally The Empire Strikes Back. I'm really liking CE3K.... ttbk, not sure what to listen to next...maybe Patton...
  11. It's included, there's not over 180 minutes of music in the theatrical cut. And there's not even 180 in the DVD cut, so we should definitely be getting those alternates and unused too. ttbk
  12. North By Northwest Vertigo (McNeely) Cape Fear (Bernstein) The Classic Film Scores of Bernard Herrmann (Gerhardt) ttbk, who adores Hermann and needs more... Patton (original recording)
  13. From an email exchange between a friend of mine and Dan Goldwasser of Soundtrack.net: ttbk, very much excited, but had hoped they would come closer together.....
  14. Yup. ttbk, who thought the same thing upon opening this thread....
  15. Star Trek: The Motion Picture Night Crossing It's a start anyway..... TTbk
  16. Yes, please. ttbk, who can't get it to work.... Vertigo
  17. I hum and whistle constantly....badly, I might add. But, yeah, I do orchestrations sometimes. BOTH is great fun, I sing the chorus; I'm guessing it sounds ghastly, but I enjoy myself. ttbk, (a humming rendition of) March from The Great Escape, Bernstein
  18. Haven't bought it yet, seeing the film tomorrow, and will be picking up the CD on the way home. ttbk
  19. Indeed. Congratulations, and good luck! You'll need it. ttbk
