04 Sooner Or Later.m4a 03 The Holy Grail.m4a 02 Jump Rope.m4a lalal.ai Works great I did the version of Sooner Or Later from Dick Tracy where I was able to isolate Madonna's Vocal from the center channel leaving all other sfx out and isolating the piano only and mixing them together. I've done a lot more some successful some still needs work. It works best to try and separate the instrument sections. Just doing instrumental carries over sfx. Instrumental works best for vocal songs.

The Indiana Jones Disenchantment Thread!
jacksparrow900 replied to Mr. Hooper's topic in General Discussion
It's funny the last two movies Harrison Ford was alive in 57 and 69 to experience that era and If Indy exist in our time does that mean that a young Harrison Ford exist. -
So far we have complete scores for You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, Live And Let Die, Octopussy, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day. Ones that have been said could not be expanded Dr. No, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. Because the tapes were missing I haven't heard that they have been found.

I've already listen to the score three times since receiving it. On another note I also picked up Topaz at the same time and those stereo elements must of been in pristine condition and untouched for almost 60 years since they sounded like they were recorded yesterday

What is the track order for the new release from Intrada for The Funhouse
-
I have it has a couple of pops and clicks but no hiss
-
The Raiders source on listening to it as full tracks it doesn't fit in the score but if you do a film edit it fits nicely. Which I did I'm perfectly fine with it. I probably won't listen to the unedited tracks again.

That timpani mockup If you equalize the bass to match the film and overlay it onto the recording and it doesn't jarring but make sure to match the volume.

Best Expansion of the last 10 years (2013-2023)
jacksparrow900 replied to Tallguy's topic in General Discussion
The Godfather, Dracula, PSYCHO II and PSYCHO III these in particular took so long to get expansions. The Godfather had a OST on CD and kept reissuing the same master since 1972 until last year we finally got an expanded edition. Both Dracula and PSYCHO II were released by MCA records in 1979 and 1983 both would then be release by Varese on CD in the early 90's and after that not even a reissue of either and were out of print until both finally got the complete scores people had been waiting for. PSYCHO III was only partially released on a LP in 1986 by MCA Records and not even a CD of the album. -
Looking at the bonus cues Manhattan Serenade after Connie's wedding when we pan and see Hollywood Tarantella, Mazurka, Foxtrot all play at Connie's Wedding The Loneliness plays after Michael Shoots Salazo and a newspaper montage plays Lucky When we see Las Vegas Connie's wedding must contain Every time I Look In Your Eyes which that one is not separate. The Last two tracks play during Michael and Apollonia wedding Still missing is Libiamo , Mona Lisa and For He's A Jolly Good Fellow these can be easily ripped from the 5.1 without SFX

This was taken from Music Of John Williams Special it has the same edit that shortens the percussion section at the beginning so it's not the full cue

It seems in recent years expanded scores always have something missing. Robin Hood, Right after the Tavern Escape and Chase -

La-La Land Records' HOOK (2CD Expanded) Discussion thread
jacksparrow900 replied to Jay's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
I was just listening to The Phantom Train Of Doom and saying to myself how some pieces of music sound like cues from Hook. Theirs one that sounds like The Never Feast
