There’s no answer to that question yet. It all depends on reviews and revenue. So far, Snyder’s cut is knocking it out of the park
-
It's literally not. Snyder was unceremoniously fired and then Joss came in and shot a bunch of close-ups with blurry footage and matched it with Snyder's action scenes and scored it hastily with Elfman using wildly terrible themes. This is Snyder's film, and Joss's is about to be destroyed forever. 1 weeks and counting...

JXL confirmed vinyl.... not sure about CD

Why is a minute and a half of "Prisoners of the Kaylon" from IDENTITY edited out?? It's one of the biggest cues in the series and it was highlighted by Debney himself on his Facebook last year. Upon rewatch, at least a minute and a half was removed from this version. I understand that CD space is a commodity, but that's the absolute last cue I'd chop up. The cue as heard in it's entirety in the show is a 5+ min rollercoaster

You’re 100% right!! It’s the first four notes of the AOE theme, played at least twice. Good catch!

Mulan (2020) by Harry Gregson-Williams

Loving this score so far!! It’s very much akin to HGW’s Narnia and Prince of Persia. Decided to make an alternate cover for it... -
Just found it and enjoyed it! Good work Bobbo lol

Almost verbatim what I was going to post! LOL I was so excited to hear this cue in the movie, and now that it wasn't even used and doesn't feature any Star Wars themes, it almost stands completely on its own.

Is anyone else surprised that there wasn't a mutation of the Emperor's theme into Rey's theme, or vice versa? From a story POV, it makes complete sense, and the two themes already share a few notes in common. I'm assuming this wasn't covered in the unreleased material (??). I was hoping for something ala Short Round's theme and Indy's theme at the end of TOD.

Great news!!! I recently saw Chamber of Secrets performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and it reminded me why CoS is my favorite Potter score. I think each of these scores will benefit from the expanded/complete treatment and deepen our appreciation for them Great way to end the week!

Does anyone have a breakdown of what the combined OST + FYC versions of "Main Titles/Escape" would look like? -
Gordy posted this on Facebook: #StarWarsBattlefront2 Pro Tip: -Go to options, and navigate to music. - Select “continuous”. - Directly below this, select music volume and turn up an additional 4db. You’re welcome! Sincerely, Composer of aforementioned music.

The Last Jedi THE LAST JEDI - Score as heard in the movie thread - SPOILERS ALLOWED

Damien, how about the chronological track order? Does it seem to be mostly in order, or all over the place? -
The Last Jedi THE LAST JEDI - OST Album MUSIC Discussion (No Movie Spoilers)

For those of you who have seen the film and heard the score, do you have a close approximation of a chronological tracklist? I've only heard the score, not seen the movie, and it thematically sounds out of order. Just a guess though. -
The Last Jedi THE LAST JEDI - OST Album MUSIC Discussion (No Movie Spoilers)

After only one listen, I can safely say that (as a big fan of TFA) almost every track has a goosebumps-inducing moment at least once. Highlights for me are definitely "Canto Bight" (which sounds straight out of A New Hope), "The Supremacy," and "The Fathiers." As with any John Williams score, if you know your themes pretty well, it *could* be spoilery so watch out. -
The Last Jedi THE LAST JEDI - Verizon's Death Star 360 Promo music
bondo replied to Will's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
Could this be a track BASED on one of JW's new themes perhaps?
