I know I have AotC, and I'm pretty sure I have Clone Wars too, but I'm not on my computer at the moment - I'll check later.

I know they are available as re-recordings, but were the following concert arrangements recorded at the time the score was recorded (I know they've never been released): - The Little People - Here They Come! (Concert Version) - Throne Room and Finale (Concert Version) - Han Solo and the Princess (Concert Version) - The Asteroid Field (Concert Version) - Jabba the Hutt - The Flag Parade (Concert Version) And are/were there concert versions of anything like "Qui-Gon's Theme" or "The Emperor's Theme"?

Would anyone feel sorry for me if I said that until February '05 I was using a Windows 95 computer with less than 20GB hard disk? Thought not.

I was thinking about it recently (just rewatched Superman and Superman II), and I really can't imagine Superman in a modern film - when we have dark films like Batman Begins and blockbusters like Spider-Man, Superman just looks more and more dated. Don't get me wrong - I love the original films, or rather original *film* (the sequels were rubbish for different reasons), but I can't picture audiences accepting it now. But I'll still go and see it.

Indy travelling music. Combined with the editing (film, not music ) it works really well. It works on its own too though, unlike much of the films.

Not In The UK. -
Which ones? The HP ones I got from Film Score Rundowns and the James Bond ones from Film Score Monthly. And Neil - the 3MX from Diamonds are Forever jsn't really source music is it? I can't remember the cue from RotS, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't either.
-
Do you mind if I ask... how do we know? I know Jim Ware wrote it in his chronological cue list...
-
Then how do you explain this? (from HP & SS): 6M1a Alt. ? And you're saying that they would probably have started 3M6-4M1 on reel 3, but finished it on reel 4 because it was too long... right?
-
I have quite a few questions - some of them I think I know the answers to, but I just want to check. I know when I cue is slated as 1M2, it means reel 1, part 2 (or something like that). What do the following mean: -A (example: 1M4A from RotS) -X (example: 3MX from Diamonds are Forever, or 4M1X from RotS) WILD (example: the end of On Her Majesty's Secret Service) ?-? (example: "San Monique" from Live and Let Die is slated as 3M6-4M1.) And how are the numbered - what defines the number they are given?

Where Can I Find The Raiders/Temple of Doom CDs?

Well, it's the 25th anniversary of Raiders next year, so we may get some expanded releases - who knows? -

The annoying thing is I saw Raiders in HMV a few months ago, but didn't think to buy it there and then. -
Where Can I Find The Raiders/Temple of Doom CDs?
robthehand replied to robthehand's topic in General Discussion
Since the music is obviously available, it would be nice to see complete releases of Raiders and The Last Crusade. What's the position with the ToD tapes? Are they still lost? -
OK, time for a confession: I own neither the Raiders or Temple of Doom CDs. Does anyone know any UK sites where either CD is available for a reasonable price? I checked Amazon, and the cheapest there is used, £50. It's not much cheaper on Amazon US. As for The Temple of Doom, I wouldn't be surprised if I never find this - I understand it's quite rare now. The only Indy CD in any of the shops I've looked around is that re-recording compliation. Any help?

Well, I tried sequencing it, but it really makes no difference to the overall flow of the score. I just printed a back cover-label with these names: 1. Travelling the World 2. Not Home for Long / Training 3. What Is Necessary 4. Fateful Night / The Cave 5. Where Are You? 6. Lighten Up 7. Gotham / The Test / Vengeance 8. A Narrow Rescue 9. Preparing / Happy Birthday 10. The Chase 11. Masks / Rebuilding / Never Have To 12. End Credits Suite I haven't printed it yet, so let me know if there are any errors.
