Could this be it?

I currently own neither the DVD nor the soundtrack CD for Schindler's List. I have one question about the above box set collector's edition. Is the soundtrack CD that comes with this set the same as the original soundtrack - or is it one of those "musical highlights" 20-minute ones again? If it is the same, I'll probably buy this, but if it's not, I'll just get the normal DVD and the CD separately.

Where, exactly, should track 10 be mixed in?
-
To eat.

Nice work!

Can someone explain to me exactly what happened to Richard Donner with Superman II? What I know (or think I know) is that Donner had finished 70-80% of the film, then something happened, they kept some of it, but refilmed most of it with Richard Lester and his "comic books are supposed to be funny" cR@p, and didn't even credit Donner? And people are asking for Donner's version on DVD? I'm confused. Any help?

I would have liked no mono version and more score, personally. Or even no MKKBB and even more score!
-
Wow - excellent work! Rob, still on "The Droid Invasion".
-
Oh that - I saw it a few days ago for the last time in YEARS.

I saw a CD on eBay once that proudly proclaimed itself to have: A HUNRED AND FIFTY MP3S IN TOP QUALITY (96kbps)!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

One more question - how does Galaxies fare (in terms of sound quality) compared to the other games? From what I remember, it goes: UE OST Jedi Power Battles Racer Insider's Guide TPM Videogame Galaxies seems pretty good quality to me. Where does it fit in?
-
I may be imagining this, but is the music from the TPM videogame faster (and therefore higher in pitch) than the OST tracks? This may not be the case for the ones on the FTP, but I just ripped the tracks in WAV format from a friend's copy of the videogame, and they seem distinctly higher.

There aren't too many unreleased cues though are there?

So the point of it is... ?

On the E.T. DVD, what *exactly* is the so-called "isolated music score"? I was aware that it wasn't an isolated score in the normal sense when I bought it - but can someone tell me exactly what it is?
-
Yes, but it will always either work, or stop working. It won't deterioriate in quality like casettes.
-
I might even just dump the whole of track 9 on there (I don't think it has any cuts at all), and just leave "Sebulba's Dirty Hand/Qui-Gon's Pep Talk" on the beginning of "Anakin Defeats Sebulba".
-
That explains a lot! Rob, not looking forward to "Anakin Defeats Sebulba"
-
In some order, I can't remember when I listened to them: Conti's Rocky Silvestri's Van Helsing and Talbot's The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Rob - with "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" stuck in his head
-
What - the score? I don't think so. 8O And if you meant the story, then so were lots of things, but that doesn't make it relevant.
-
On the Indy DVD, Williams says that "he's looking forward to coming back to it for Indy 4" or words to that effect.

The suit looks great, the logo looks like a colorful pastry. Well... I knew what I meant! Kinda like marzipan. Too 3-D.
-
They've made the logo look horrible, IMO.

What's SotE?

I agree that the first one is better - pity about the "composed by" though. Strictly speaking, I think the credits are "Music composed and conducted by Ken Thorne, based on themes by John Williams", but it's up to you. I would make the back cover like it is on the Rhino release.
