  1. What's worse is that 688 have voted that they think it should be illegal.
  2. "Please read" = take note that it's an LP transfer "2000 edition" = limited to 2000 copies (I think)
  3. I think richuk is referring to the interview with Horner, in which J.H. was very unkind about Yared's rejected score. EDIT: See here.
  4. It's 800x338. The limit is 640x250. http://jwfan.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1269&hl=
  5. One side has a poster, the other side has a "timeline" of the film pointing out the differences between the three versions.
  6. It's a fold-out digipak inside a bigger cardboard box that also holds the chart and book. The outer cardboard box is the part that was damaged on my copy.
  7. Me too. My Close Encounters of the Third Kind box set has a rather noticable chunk missing in the corner. Thankfully the bit that holds the discs was fine.
  8. Good luck finding a replacement. Apparently all (or most of) the ones shipped by Amazon also have dented tins. click
  9. Never seen the film, but it certainly looks like the picture on the cover of Gerhardt's Sea Hawk album.
  10. Just one I wondered about, what did you think of The Departed out of interest?
  11. I'd love to hear a Prokfiev Star Trek score. I saw the movie Mahler the other day, and the score - most of which is made of up Mahler's music - was very effective and score-like (meaning that in the best possible way). I'd have been interested to hear what he would have written for a film.
  12. Patrick Stewart was hilarious on Extras too. Scene here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SvlBqyuzg98
  13. The Duellists? Not seen it unfortunately, but I want to. It will probably be my next rental.
  14. That must be the highest score anyone has ever given it. I think it's more like a **1/2 movie because, like with most Scott films, it lacks substantial depth (For that I way much prefer Barry Lyndon - which Scorsese names Kubrick's most daring project, BTW). Of course, the images and the style make up for it. After all, at that time, Scott was a visual artist with already thousands of commercials on his resume. If there's anyone who knows how to capture something on film and make it look good, it's him! Alex
  15. Hmm, looks like The Godfather. Even if that's wrong, I'll post this one because I got your previous one right.
