  1. Well, I hope it has NOTHING in commin with "Day after tomorrow", that score was the definition of "dull".

Yes, I suppose it was quite dull.. What I'm trying to say .. is most "normal" composers would feel the urge to follow that sort of style, but John Williams (being the Musical Genius that he is) will create a whole new, fresh, exciting score for us to have multiple orgasms over for several years to come  (or is that just me? o_O)

    *runs away*

  2. im curious what the score for War of the Worlds going to sound like

Me too :) ... looking at the trailers, it's got that sort of feel .. I can't explain it really.. but the sort of music that some composer like Harald Kloser or maybe Alan Silvestri would create (Day after tomorrow sort of thing..)

But that's not really John Williams style, if I was to score that film , at a glance just from that 2nd trailer, I would really hear that sort of stuff.. But I think John Williams will really suprise us with some interesting music and some fresh exciting action cues .. maybe even some choral stuff? (perhaps not  )

  3. Thanks !! I'm buying it now =) From Amazon.co.uk... xD

I would be intrigued to see if that is actually the same format, since Amazon.co.uk appear to be selling it for about £5 less than anywhere else.....even their OWN stock of jewel-cased ones are more expensive than the slipcased one - it doesn't make any sense.....

    Let us know!!!!!

    Will do :(

  4. Heya! ;)

I'm thinking of starting a little Film Music radio stream ... but I really need to know how much the connection can take before it maxes out with lag or any problems... so can I ask a big favour and ask for you to connect to the URL below using your Media Player? :P

That would be great =) ... I'll be streaming some good film music including some rare Complete Score cues , etc... so take a listen =)

Thanks in Advance, post any problems you get here :)

  5. Yep - just a cardboard slipcase for the double jewel-case to - erm - slip into!  As per the Superman 2-Disc,

    Greg :-)

    Oh, I get it LOL

Thanks !! I'm buying it now =) From Amazon.co.uk... xD

I'd guess they slipcase just wraps around the normal jewel case. This is used quitre frequently.

I had the idea that you just got a small slipcase that the CDs slipped into.. that's why I was so offputted LOL ... I get it now ;)
