  1. By the way, what's happened to Sawyer? Am I the only one thinking he's turned into a Fuzzy the Bear kinda character in this season?
  2. Qui-Gon´s mission ( beautiful thematic flow - and a funny little hint to Saint Saens ) and Death of Jonathan Kent.
  3. Korngold Concertos and Symphonic Suite for strings on Chandos. The Suite is outstanding.
  4. Some wonderfully flexible and quasi improv cello writing in there - my favourite solo concerto, only second to Alban Bergs violin concerto and right after the Korngold concerto .
  5. One of my favourites, the Witch dance. In the tradition of Saint Saens Dance Macabre or Night on a Bare Mountain I find.
  6. Catch me if you can middle section - really night-urban cool chords ( reminds me of Taxidriver ). Maybe those magic transformation chords about a third into Journey to the Island. Not so 60ties jazzy though, but a fantastic progression, hope you know what I mean.
  7. Im a long time reader but hesitant ( someone allways beats me to whatever I wanted to post ) contributer to this great site. Just one thing, and I dont know if it has been brought up before. How about the fan site joined up for a plaque or the like with a big thanks to Williams engraved? I know I'd be happy to throw in 5- 10 $ to the administrator and if we all did, we could give him something very presentable Im sure. Also, he's not getting any younger. Just an idea
  8. The Contract. Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding Jr. Sorely wasted talent in a truly bad movie I think.
  9. Didnt know there was any difference between the classics and Williams.
  10. "Closer", and "The Bunker" last week - both defenetely must-see's, though not much music in them.
  11. Hi everybody I like it when JW gets sentimental with a touch of evergreen in The Terminal, a bit like in Sabrina. Also think I liked the first Potter score better than POA.
