ok.......let's see if this does it...... 1) go to www.globaldesk.com and login as user: saxman717 password: jwfan 2) once you're at the inbox, you should see all the files there, right click and save them, and you should be good to go! Get them while they're hot, tho, 'cause this stingy account expires in 4 days  Hope it works now, sorry about all the technical trouble....never posted any files before :-P -

Hey everyone! I am a saxophone player in the Cornell University Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony, and this past Fall we performed Donald Hundsberger's wind ensemble transcription of the Star Wars Trilogy Concert Suite. I'll be converting the songs to mp3s later today and will send them to anyone who is interested. The piece is ordered as: Movement 1: Imperial March Movement 2: Leia's Theme Movement 3: Battle in the Forest Movement 4: Yoda's Theme Movement 5: Star Wars Main Theme and Encore of Imperial March If anyone is interested in any of the above movements, let me know! -Steve

Essay on SW Music for College Writing Course!
Saxman717 replied to Saxman717's topic in General Discussion
You know, I was just watching The Patriot, and holy cow, the film was cut to the music so well! There were incredibly few edits and the music definitely carried the emotion through each scene..........and the cinematics of The Patriot for the most part differed very little from Episode II! Why was the music editing so much uglier for it, then? Especially considering the great ways the music JW wrote was spliced into the previous 4 movies.....*shaking head*....soooo confused :-) -

Thanks for some great ideas, Alejandro, I might toy with a few of them. You're quite right about film evolution and the how the modern-day styles tend to conflict with the old-style composing. It's unfortunate to me 'cause I personally loved the old style so much more, with the catchy leitmotifs and character themes... -
