    My copy arrived bright and early this morning. Having had the time to listen to the DVD-A I have to say I’m thrilled with it. It’s especially fascinating hearing the various segments of unused material that have been restored. The whole thing is quite an exhausting experience to listen to beginning to end, but certainly a worthwhile one. Hope yours showed up, Alan.

    Mine went out on the 2nd too. Here's hoping we both get ours tomorrow then! I have to face the bitter cold of London all day tomorrow. If it comes it will arrive before I leave but I won't have time to spin the DVD-A and that's what I want to hear first so there's no chance of it being put onto my ipod tomorrow to listen to when in town. Hopefully if it does come in the morning then I can at least come home tomorrow night known it's there for me to enjoy with a mug of hot chocolate. "Wheree isss itttttt"

    My order remains in ‘In stock – Usually ships within following weekday’ limbo. I’ve yet to receive the ‘ships within 12hrs’ e-mail yet. Perhaps Axel just have a set time every day when they ship orders out so hopefully I’ll get word of it shipping later today. Blimey. So Britain IS efficient at something then…

    Yes they had to sort the round off error for me too. They did so very quickly though and my credit was available to me within four hours of sending payment. Right now I am lagging behind you chaps however, as I’ve not yet had the “Dear rabid Howard Shore fan” shipment notice e-mail and my account status reads ‘usually ships next working day’ so given we’re well into the evening now I’d imagine mine will go out tomorrow. I remain impressed with their dedication to customer service. We all know where to get ROTK from next year I take it.

    It does look as if it will be around that time, Rich. The latest they could possibly bring it up in line with the US release is next week if they want to surprise us and let us know it will in fact be out on the 6th or something. Incidentally Woolworths are listing Friday the 17th like HMV. Woolworths, next to HMV and Amazon (who still say the 20th) are the only places online I know listing it at all. There's still nothing at Virgin or Play.com.

    Amazon UK have now moved it up a week to the 20th. HMV still show the 17th, but again of the two I am pushed to taking Amazon's date what with it being a Monday and all.
