  1. So was American Journey originally but the music was then recorded and released without it.
  2. Yeah, that never works. I would rather have the narration than the distortion.
  3. Peter Boyer manages to release multiple albums of his original concert works. With Williams all we get are performances of the same film score cues over and over and over.
  4. This piece goes really well with "Overture to the Oscars," which also needs an official release (at least we have the live broadcast recording).
  5. Excited to hear this, but already frustrated that "no commercial release" has been discussed. WTF.
  6. Got my cd in the mail today from Amazon
  7. what a nice surprise! Love the performance of "Sound the Bells"
  8. Because I went out to lunch the day this was released, I didn't order until 2 hours later... and mine still hasn't shipped. Damn.
  9. What were the little 5 pieces from last year? I'm just so impressed!
  10. I also got the notice from Amazon about the January delivery date. Bummer.
  11. I would really give anything to have an instrumental version of the cue "He Carves the Roast Beast," but that's probably too much to ask. I can't stand Carrey's Grinch vocals. I would even settle for a version with just the chorus.
  12. It is just incredibly frustrating when you see so many countless albums being released every week for far inferior series scores. Where the hell is this?
  13. I can't recommend highly enough the soundtrack to MultiVersus by Gordy Haab and Stephen Barton. It is a virtual love letter to Horner and Williams, not at all what I was expecting. I have been listening to it pretty-much nonstop since it was released a few weeks ago, and posted about it on the FSM board but nobody there was really paying attention. I know Haab has his fans here, and I urge them to check this out. It is absolutely one of my favorite scores released in 2022 from any film, tv show, or video game. Another recent favorite videogame soundtrack is Greg Nicollet's score for POTIONOMICS, which includes a number of tracks with the F.A.M.E.S. orchestra and the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. This is one of my favorite cues.
  14. And there's also Spielberg's Pinocchio -- A.I.
  15. And I was there! What a thrill. And Johnny said he would like to come back at 100.
  16. https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cfk8xQxjfnt/ Seth posted a beautiful cue on Instagram. What a tease.
