Amazing that movie companies ruin all film franchises these days.
And now even a franchise that doesn't exist.

(No, LotR and Hobbit aren't franchises, they are simply book adaptions).

Frisbees like this one is why the soundtrack genre is dying.
There's no reason why you would pay any double digit price for a disc pressed full of irrelevant ambiance.

I don't believe for a second that any of these people who voted for this listened to even one minute consciously.

    I did an experiment.
Of 48 score cues, all of them except maybe 10 or 12 start with long, brooding, drawn out pads or other sounds.

How do you listen to this without contracting narcolepsy?
I've never skipped through an album this fast.
If you don't grab my attention within 20 seconds, done. Next track.

    Yes.
Also because his theme is played when the eagle picks him up (when you start the piece at the same point BB does).
And the fast drum part starts perfectly when the eagle rushes towards Bilbo.
Also, I think the first part of the Nature theme (for the moth appearing again) was, or is, the actual beginning of "A Good Omen", but was removed for the albums because Shore didn't like the repetition shortly after the statement in "Out Of The Frying-Pan". The cut statement is most likely a new recording too since it was obviously re-recorded when Jackson decided to go with the temp.
But you can still easily hear how it would play out in the film. When the moth appeary, Nature's Reclamation would play, and after the initial statement of four bars, it would segue right into A Good Omen. Not only because this is precisely the point where BB starts it in his video, but also because it starts with an F major chord, and Nature's Reclamation proceeds with F after four bars as well (well, dimished F# chord, but that one F# was probably changed to F naturel in the composition).

Literally my only concerns are the music, eye rolling titillation/gratuity and woke agenda.

"His bat signal has its own theme" is one of the most pretentious film scoring things I've ever heard. So basically every time someone is on screen, it's a "theme".
A "theme" for this dork is apparently everything that isn't a rhythm.

The best bits of the score are the Carpenter-like ones, but when it tries to go all "symphonic", using that term generously, the Junk demonstrates that kind of writing is way above his league.

    KotM is reaonably serious.
You need to be very careful with seriousness in this kind of movie, especially one with that background and history. A somewhat "serious" plot belongs to Godzilla just as much as the tongue firmly in cheek. There are also shades of seriousness. I would much prefer a really dark Godzilla movie, almost in the horror realm, to that standard Hollywood drama that also feels like it has to send some sort of message.
Godzilla 2014 was on the verge of being silly in its seriousness at a few points.

There is a line that shouldn't be crossed in these kind of films because then you deny the audience access to the film, when the over the top images they see clash with the overly serious tone of the story. That's what is then perceived as stupid or trashy.
It's one of the major reasons why the SW prequels are considered trashy or bad movies. Because the overly dramatic, verbose, and self-indulging seriousness of the script clashes with the visuals of all the iguana riding, lava surfing, and Jar-Jaring.

He has the Zimmer bullshitting down to a tee.
That lazy hack took the Godzilla fanfare, changed a few notes, flattened the meter, and called it a day. Presumably to get back to finishing his Mount Everest sized Justice League turd.

Hot flash for him: the entire score consists of a ridiculously large brass section.

Why are the DC geeks so upset about "Snyderverse" getting cancelled?
Man of Steel had mixed reactions.
    Batman v Superman was gobshite.
And Justice League was a disaster, that took years, and another 70 million, to turn into a "too little too late" movie.

Maybe get some directors that don't hate superheros would be a good start.

When you recorded an instrument track with MIDI keyboard in your sequencer, there’s usually an option to record „over“ that track, but not to replace the notes, but to input MIDI CC with your MIDI controller/keyboard, so you don’t have to paint the curves manually.

I use that because I’m not so good with keyboard playing that I can play and use modwheel/faders at the same time.

It's actually quite endearing, had the journey to the island alone not been stretched into a whole episode of Gilligan's Island.
