Yes
That's what I thought about, too. Some second grade horror movie with kids sitting around a campfire.

Yup, bad one
Don't mind the publicist, he's trying to sound off-mainstream.

gkgyver got a reaction from karelm in LOST - the music
Don't think so.
I can honestly say that LOST is the only series I ever saw that didn't have a single weak episode.

I'll analyse the crap out of this score so you think the Fellowship theme is a variation of the Song of the Lonely Mountain, written after Shore entered the rupture of the space-time continuum caused by the splitting of JWfan into two halves.

I'll gladly battle it out with Incanus and ... well, there's no one else really

Should have kept the headphones to hear a couple of sequences WITH the music

gkgyver got a reaction from Bilbo in The Amazing Spider-man 2 (2014 Film)
Just listened to this for the first time. Holy crap, ring the bells, proclaim a holiday, Zimmer uses a trumpet for a superhero!
Too bad it sounds like the ensemble patch from a 10 year old mediocre sample library. Honestly, if this is a real human being playing the trumpet, how the hell did they manage to move it even beyond the aural atrocity level of Vangelis' synths?
Sounds like he's mimicking Horner's style from part one. I don't get it. If you do that, why didn't you keep the better Horner in the first place, meaning Horner?

If Thor thinks the whole score is just droning and brooding, I would have my doubts about that comment as well.

I just imagine Howard and Conrad chatting about the music during the film, when suddenly from behind, "shut up, we're trying to watch a movie here!"

But the extended soundtrack adds a whole minute. No reason to despair just yet.
And that review quote means nothing. It's already suspicious when someone uses the word "music track". Granted, it's one step above "songs" or "tunes", but today's audience doesn't seem to notice or want to notice more detailed scoring anyway, so who cares?

Must be quite an experience for Shore.
To hear half his score replaced in front of an audience, I mean
