  1. The funny thing is that in less than a week since its was realeased, we have more music for TFA than ROTS and AOTC. 1. ROTS/TFA (the first has more highlights and the second flows better thematically) 3. TPM 4. AOTC
  2. I´m very happy that we have this, with extra music and alternates, now I have to do an edit. But I tthink, the OST is a MUCH better listening experience than the promo. Send the album to the Academy!!
  3. I buy the red arm, but why the hell has he a golden arm again at the end of the movie?? They have time in the middle of the battle for change it again? That´s because it´s also Anakin´s saber. The one which he kills a lot of Jedi in Revenge of the Sith... Nope. He is Kes Dameron and Shara Bey´s son according with the Shattered Empire comic that is canon . Saw what you want about JJ, he usually casts well! He even found totally acceptable replacements for Shatner, Nimoy and Kelley. For sure, one of his strong points is the casting. Look at Lost, Star Trek and now TFA...
  4. Ok, it´s official, after seeing the movie two times and having listened to the soundtrack, about 20 times in 4 days, I completely fall in love with this score. I think what we have here is one of the greatest soundtracks of the 21st century. No joke! The truth is that there are not oustanding tracks that you want to listen again and again, but that is beacuse I enjoy every minute of it and always listen since the beginning to the end of the album. Rey´s and Kylo´s themes are great and the heart of the score. In my first listenings I though that the action tracks were not very memorable, but now I LOVE I Can Fly Anything and Follow Me/The Falcon, and Poe´s and Finn´s themes (and the Rebel fanfarre associated to the Falcon). The same with The Resistence March and the Scherzo for X-Wings. The Jedi Steps is my favourite part, can´t wait for hear this theme again in Episode 8. And the End Credits are amazing, probably the best ones since ESB...

  6. Great interview. And it looks to me that if he hasn´t health problems, he is going to make Episode VIII and IX .
  7. Sadly, I think most of the people were waiting for a post-credits scene.. But the End Credits were amazing, probably the best ones since ESB. Love all the themes, and I love the end with Luke´s "Home Alone "theme
  8. I think all the humor in this movie works incredible well: BB8 (all of its scenes), Han (every fucking line), Finn (great quemistry of Boyega with Ridley and Ford), Chewie (when a nurse is healing him), and even Kylo Ren! ("Anything else?" and when he call the stormtroopers and they turned around),
  9. Cool! Good catch! I like the theme, althought I think it is the one that sounds less "Starwarsy" of the new ones.
  10. Yeah, luckily, since I work selling music and movies . Doesn´t in Holland?? The funny thing is that in Spain (and I thin in the rest of Europe), the digipack is 2 euros more expensive than the jewel one... And the booklet of the deluxe edition has the same number of pages than the normal one, only changes the front and back covers (a pic of Kylo Ren and the Logo of the New Order, I think).
  11. Wait, was there any other female stormtroopers besides Brienne? If so I didn't notice. What were the options in this poll supposed to be? There was one with dialogue that talks with Kylo Ren or Hux, don´t rememeber. I really like all the new caracters and the actors. I was sure I was going to enjoy Rey and Poe, and was surprised by Finn and Kylo. Cant´t wait for Episode VII!
  12. I work in the biggest record store in Madrid (Fnac Callao) and tonight, the soundtrack arrived. Sorry because I have not pics of it, but I had the three different editions in my hands. They are almost the same... The back cover is BLACK, with NOTHING in it: without the titles of the tracks, only the "space" with a couple of stars and the Disney logo. Funny that the spanish version has all the letters in spanish. The special edition is a digipack (and it is 2 euros more expensive than the regular one: 17,99 and 15,99). And the deluxe edition is a fraud: the same as the special, but with a special cover and 2 cards, and it cost 22,99! 5 more euros! The booklet change the cover and the back, but the same number of pages. I didn´t read the JJ text, and the credits neither. But in the tracklist it credits with an asterisk that the Main Titles, The March of the Resistence and the End Credits are conducted by Gustavo dudamel (I think it says guest conductor).
  13. Wow, It´s been a long time since my last post (maybe years haha), but I read you guys almost everyday. With the return of Star Wars, it´s time to come back . I am working in the biggest record store in Madrid (Fnac Callao) and tonight, the soundtrack arrived. Sorry because I have not pics of it, but I had the three different editions in my hands. They are almost the same... The back cover is BLACK, with NOTHING in it: without the titles of the tracks, only the "space" with a couple of stars and the Disney logo. About the score, I think I am with the mayority here. It sounds great, and has grown on me with every listen (I think I have listened to it 5 or 6 times), but the action music is not memorable and the new themes are not in par with the rest of the saga. The are all fun: I love the Finn (or Poe) one, I find Kylo Ren´s so simple and Rey´s Theme... It sounds different each time haha. I love the version before the credits (the one of the spot). The Resistence sounds more Indy than Star Wars to me... By the way, in 16 hours I will be watching the movie (I can´t fucking wait), and I´m sure the themes will grown a lot with the images.
  14. hahahaha. lol I´m a Laker and Kobe fan .
  15. I Love No Man´s Land, one of my all time favourite tracks. For Me War Horse is in my Williams Top 10 or close. Tintin is really fun, with a lot of themes and action music but as KM said is not at the level of SW, Indy or HP. Lincoln is one of my favourites Williams´ dramas (I prefer it to Accidental Tourist, Angela´s Ashes or Sleepers for example. I´ve only listened The Book Thief 5 o 6 times and it´s ok, but is by far my least favourite of the four.
