  1. I remember there were one or two that I couldn't identify at the time.
  2. I do actually agree on both your points there - Doug seems to usually say outright if Intrada is working on something. And Easter would certainly be the window of opportunity for its release, I can see that happening.
  3. Doug didn't say Intrada isn't releasing it though, did he? But I agree, if not from Intrada then I think it would be LLL. I don't really see Quartet issuing this title.
  4. Ah, alright. I got the email from the orchestra today with the headline "Just Announced!" Oh well!
  5. Thank goodness it was acknowledged, and that truly is one of my very last grails too. I can't wait!
  6. Just announced! http://www.bsomusic.org/main.taf?erube_fh=tessitura&tessitura.submit.CalendarPerfLink=1&PerfNo=12360 Can't post more right now, but I wanted to get this out there. It's a fundraiser concert.
  7. Well, Danna deserved an award. I would have liked Williams to win, but really all the nominees were strong this year (aside from Skyfall, perhaps).
  8. I'm expecting TTC to come from La-La land, but I can also see them releasing Ghostbusters (or perhaps Intrada would). Either way I think Ghostbusters is a surefire reissue - that one is really more a question of when, not if. IMO anyway.
  9. How's it feel not to be credited? http://www.movieweb.com/news/john-williams-wants-to-make-music-for-star-wars-episode-vii
  10. This thread ought to be in the John Williams forum, I think. I think I'll have to order that Lincoln suite! "Getting out the Vote" is an interesting choice for inclusion in this.
  11. Indeed, I was. Once I saw the guy's name on my Paypal receipt I realized he was someone known for selling CD-R's. It's a shame, but live and learn I suppose.
  12. Good things come those who wait! Snagged the War Horse FYC on eBay for $24 shipped. Edit: Actually now I'm nervous, since I can see the seller's email address now and know who it may be..
  13. This and the Intrada Bernstein have been the most exciting releases of 2013 for me so far, and they'll certainly be among my favorites at the end of year too! A great start.
  14. Are there any releases of Morricone's What Dreams May Come beyond the disc that includes Red Sonja? It sounds lovely on Youtube, I'd love to be able to find a copy somewhere for a reasonable price.
  15. I wonder if the MGM musical is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Kritzerland had a limited issue of it that sold out.
  16. I've got it, but I could have lived without it. I was actually pretty disappointed in the alternate Anvil of Crom, because I expected it to be more unique. However it's very much like the Tadlow recording's version, in terms of the brass parts. Even the "busy horn line" in the B section is actually on the Tadlow recording. The sound is decent, it's really not bad and you can hear things that you haven't heard before - but you just can't mask the performance. Some say that the mistakes are excusable because the performance is more passionate, but for the most part I hear just as much passion in the Tadlow recording - and more accurate playing as well. I'm not looking forward to their release of Destroyer...I'll buy it, but there's no way it can replace the Tadlow recording, nor can the original Barbarian tracks.
  17. Bilbo/Sting isn't TERRIBLE, it's better than most of them. I was just a huge fan of primary posters for LotR, so the ones for this film were a bit of a let down for me.
  18. Okay, well I did like the teaser, I forgot about that one... But the rest? Nay!
  19. I'm actually a fan of it. It's not great, but I've detested every other poster design for the film aside from the banner and this.
