I absolutely hated that movie and it even had Kevin Costner in a role he never should have taken. I think I'm too old school when it comes to Supes, I only accept a fun version and I consider Chris Reeve definitive as live action goes. He would just bend the guns and smirk as they opened fire on him, then the shooters would look at each other with silly baffled expressions. In this modern dark and disturbing era for more sophisticated audiences, he's treated like a terrorist and flanked by military forces.
